Anyone know why the top of my forearm is burning and aching like crazy after doing some biceps? My right arm is completely fine, but my left is bothering me to the point where I can't really write. The pain goes from the brachioradialis (?) all the way down to my wrist.
Kind of worried I might have fucked something up?
hahahaha told you man. the dtp bicep workout is legit. I went t rex mode for a week straight.

There are no principles, there are only events. There is no good and bad, there are only circumstances. The superior espouses events and circumstances in order to guide them.
300 reps of bicep curls is fucking nuts lol, lemme know how much your arms grow after the program though.
i was under the impression that biceps are fast twitch dominant so it would respond better to 8-12 reps
I do like to go higher in reps for calves though because they're slow twitch
Don't know about biceps. But for calves personally, I think 8-12 reps is best. You walk on your calves everyday so basically that's high reps and if you train your calves with high reps what's the point and where's the stimulation?

Unless you walk on your tip toes, or up a hill, there is barely any stimulation on calves when one walks IMO.
As far as training them goes, I honestly think they are like traps. Some people get results from lower weight and multiple reps, some get results from heavy shrugs...

lol when you get DOMS or just typical soreness the next day after you train calves, you will feel constant pain in your calves in your normal walking. All I'm saying is you are using your calves muscle when you are walking which is high reps, there is no point doing high rep in weight training for your calves.

And all I am saying is unless you walk like a fairy on tippy toes, your calves contract maybe 30 % or so. Not considered a rep. Its like drinking beer, by picking up a pint and taking it to your mouth does not constitute a bicep curl.
Some people do high reps to get a good burn/pump. To each his/her on, everybody's body responds differently.

yea I agree. Like you said, high reps work for someone and low reps might work for someone else. Or just have 2 calves workout a weeks, one high and one low reps.
tell me about it. You swear on your grave that you do every set for 20 reps? yea more like bs, 20 reps for a burnout set probably.
I clearly said I do up to 20 reps. Sometimes they were burnout sets, sometimes they were my main working set. But never again, now I know squats are for people that don't walk.

Not nearly as impressed as I am by your knowledge and wisdom! Trust me, you amaze me with every post...
Not as nearly as impressed by your ignorance and arrogance. I have my own opinion, if you don't like it you can gtfo. I never mentioned high reps for legs so your post to my calves debate is irrelevant. Post a picture of your calves to prove you know what you are talking about or your legs. Or else it's just a bunch of videos of you doing heavy ass weight but no muscle gained whatsoever.
you amaze me with your hate towards my post. It's better to be hated than to be liked.
^^
lolwut
red_sirs been here on rs almost longer then i've lived and you tell him to gtfo
you can't do heavy ass weight without gaining muscle...
doing heavy ass weight comes muscle
you sound like a guy whose taking shit out of a book or something, but take no action in the gym
