I found that heavy dumbbell rows contributed to my back thickness greatly. I do mine with a staggered stance with one arm on the bench.

Sometimes I get billed less than 20 sometimes over 20 at sc.
Weird.

what should the target reps for rows be for a noob?
also heavy 6-8 reps?

GFitTrain 04-15-2013 10:48 PM

That's not a bad rep range. I would go with 8-10.

Million different back exercises out there

or be a G and do them all ;) :fullofwin:

Fcukedd 04-15-2013 10:51 PM

What I do is progressively go heavy as fuckkkk (last set is 5-6 reps with minimal form breakdown), then 2-3 sets after of 10-15 reps for the pump and contraction.

Agreed with GFitTrain about really bringing out the thickness on heavy rows

J.C 04-15-2013 10:54 PM

ill get hoooooge with rows :alonehappy:
brb monster in 2014

dmak4 04-15-2013 11:05 PM

I find that bent over barbell rows work really well, been doing them instead of dumbbell rows along with other back exercises. Hypertrophy to get that size, 8-12reps 3-4sets!

L0uie69 04-15-2013 11:35 PM

i love heavy DB rows, my rep range is usually anywhere from 10-20reps for sets. if i was to do bb rows i only do them pendley style

Mr.Money 04-16-2013 12:10 AM

is350 04-16-2013 12:04 PM

Anyone tried taking their whey protein with almond breeze? Damn taking it the second time, chocolate whey and chocolate breeze, texture and flavor is so thick.

LC21 04-16-2013 01:22 PM

^ real milk ftw!

^also has been using milk for breakfast, just want to try something different during the day. Breeze definitely makes the shake's flavour thicker than milk.

J.C 04-16-2013 06:52 PM

back day:
Bent-over Barbell Rows
T-Bar Rows
Dumbbell Rows
Pull-ups

dem rows

RRxtar 04-16-2013 07:14 PM

Cable and Tbar rows are my flavor

Also, underhand rows of some variety really add meat around the shoulder blades. My gym has a pretty good machine for it

is350 04-16-2013 07:37 PM

do you even lift prank part 2 (gym edition)

Fcukedd 04-16-2013 08:09 PM

G-spec 04-17-2013 01:08 AM

any of you guys done or tried Prolotherapy ?
I figured a lot if not all of you in here would have had ligament issues at some point or do now, and one of yall must've tried Prolo....

I need a recommendation to a good office that does it right, and maybe some feedback on if it helped or not thanks....

sorry something unrelated to your question. But damn so many G-... on this forum, G-nerd, G-diesel, and G-spec and some other G's. What is up with this? lol

sonick 04-17-2013 09:23 AM

g-g-g-gangsta.
Posted via RS Mobile

G-spec 04-17-2013 10:21 AM

nothing to do with the word Gangster, this being an automotive forum I thought the Spec would have given up the meaning.
I drive a G35 coupe.... but Nissan is famous for it's V-Spec line of GTR's.... so a little bit of wordplay since sadly I do not have a GTR

so about that Prolotherapy guys ? I can't make any gains on a lower back that refuses to play along

RCubed 04-17-2013 10:45 AM

PB today! Finally managed to do 2 consecutive muscle ups!
