First time doing a leg workout in ages, since cycling has taken over... It just confirms why I stopped. I'm going to be sore for a week. Shiet. There goes this weeks ride.

go for light rides to recover and get blood flow to minimize the soreness

I went for a super slow ride yesterday for an hour, no hills. I'll do the same today. Stanley Park is actually quite nice when your not so focused on pushing so hard. Who knew

the part with the wooden incline ramp is brutal lol

triple benched 315 yesterday -( form was more or less intact even as i hit the third rep, just went up a bit slower), after heavy squats (well for me that is, not for many of you here) that day lol. i decided i'll be testing my new max very soon in the next month or so. i expect to hit a very big pr before my birthday the coming month
just a reflection on my workout yesterday:
i have found heavy pullups with weight strapped around my waist to be very helpful in breaking my own bench plateaus
also unilateral seated rows have really allowed me to target the mid back, which is vital to a high bench. the muscles of the mid back play a huge role in keeping your body nice and tight while you bench
really starting to hate barbell rows because of the stress it places on my back, i feel like i'm focusing more on keeping myself bent in position (which really taxes out my lower back) rather than getting in quality movements for the upper back which is what the exercise is actually supposed to target. just my opinion though, i know some guys are in love with barbell rows

Start switch hitting when your doing the deed
Seriously though, do some farmers walks. Strangely benching doesn't really require huge grip strength?
