I don't think they go higher then 1000iu for vitamin d. thats 20 pills to get 20,000. 500iu pills would mean 40.

I know what you mean. I've been taking ZMA pills from ON for the past week and my dreams have been a lot clearer than usual. i also noticed i don't feel like shit when i wake up in the morning anymore. that last reason alone, i plan on taking these for life.

For Vitamin D pills, which brands are you guys taking/suggest?

I just went to walmart, picked up some Magnesium and Zinc pills…90 capsules @ ~$4 each. Not to shabby id say. They are no name but i dont think it really matters.
The cheapest Vit. D was $10 for 500 capsules…i skipped on that for now.

Today is front squat day, but my wrist probably won't be able to handle it. I'll try! If not, guess I'll do back squats instead... Or maybe the HACK SQUAT MACHINE~!

Are they chelates though? IE is it "Magnesium Malate/Citrate/Aspartate" or is it something like "Magnesium Oxide"?

If it's the latter, throw them out and buy a new bottle. Luckily you didn't waste too much money

Same with Zinc and any mineral - it should always be connected to something ending with "ate" rather than "ide"

And yes, I haven't updated my log in the last 2 workouts. I guess I figured nobody was reading them but me anyway, and I have it all on paper... Guess I'll keep it going, at least to keep the exclusive RS BB club active

They are the latter…magnesium oxide. It compared the jamesion one, which was 2x the price…it said 250mg i think of magnesium element. Then on the cheap one I bought, the ingredients said 450mg (~250mg derived from magnesium element). So i was like shit i rather save money and get the same thing.

Out of that 250mg, your body can probably absorb about 20mg of it

Feel great after today's workout. High pulls, inc. db press, and front squats. My wrist is fine as long as I don't rotate it.

I actually failed on squats on my 20th rep. Luckily I had the safety bars up!

Is it cheapest to buy vits/minerals from a local place like Costco or is there a better alternative online?

I usually buy my iso whey from costco as they have pretty good prices
