I have a weak right wrist and have been using these for pressing movements since the summer time along with doing exercises to strengthen it again. It's feeling better now so i'm thinking of downgrading to less supportive wraps. anyone have recommendations?

I recently ventured into including squats into my workout. The back of my neck/spine area still gets pretty sore even after about a month in. I am thinking about buying a squat pad to use. Any thoughts?
I asked my friend about it. He said just wait and I'll get used to it. I don't think that's the case though. Should I just suck it up? Posted via RS Mobile |

but maybe work on ur bar placement, it shouldnt hurt at all if u got it on the right area and maybe do some upper back + trap work concurrently to make a better shelf for the bar

Ray don't be afraid to use the maxipad to squat with. I have no shame in admitting I use it once in awhile too.
Side note on squats. My shoulder flexibility is fucking brutal. I'm finding the bigger I get the harder it is to get my arms back under the damn bar. I think this also goes along with my inability to do overhead squats. I've been trying to stretch my shoulders back but fuck if it's anything like gaining flexibility in martial arts it's going to take me forever.

i've been doing a ton of deadlifts lately, and oddly enough it seems to carry over to my back squat and my ability to sit back. I guess a strong lower back is essential for all hip hinge/extension movements

Haha yeah, that was a year ago and post smolov. Life, little injuries, and dumb training got in the way. On a much lower volume program now, if I can hit 500+ again I'd be pretty happy. Posted via RS Mobile |

Around Christmas i was at my heaviest all year due to being lazy and gluttonous (200.3lbs) today I'm back down to 193.6lbs. That means all the turkey and chips are burned off. Now all that's left is actual hard to get off fat. 20lbs to go in just under 4 months. Should be easy peasy Posted via RS Mobile |

After a week and a bruised neck, I found the spot where it didn't hurt.
Do some shrugs, try and find the sweet spot, and tough it out. It will be worth it. Posted via RS Mobile |

I'm determined to get more active this year so I starting running and lifting free weights at home. Nothing crazy, just picked up 20's, 25's and 30's. Figured I'd start at 20 and work my way up as the muscle memory comes back. Looking to lose he spare tire gut, improve my cardio and gain some strength. Been dedicating about 1 to 1.5 hours each day to something. Run one day, then weights next day, then stretch next day, then break and so on. The first week was tough filled with soreness, stiffness, gassing out, etc but now into the second week I feel my capabilities have almost doubled. I'm pretty shocked how my body(I'm lazy as fcuk and drink beer daily) has responded actually.

Seasoning is easy. Simple "steak spice" is nice, or marinade in light healthy salad dressing for a bit of kick. Just be careful when cooking since the sugar is easy to burn Posted via RS Mobile |
