Seasoning is easy. Simple "steak spice" is nice, or marinade in light healthy salad dressing for a bit of kick. Just be careful when cooking since the sugar is easy to burn

Ahh okay. No joke, but one of the most amazing tools to learn how to start cooking is YouTube! The instruction videos are great because they really do show step by step. I have gotten lazy over the years and i just buy the roast chickens now. To change it up i also buy frozen Atlantic salmon (already cut into steaks). Just thaw, sprinkle on some dill, throw in the oven at 325 for about 25 minutes an its beautifully cooked and tender. Add with wild rice and French beans

kind of spicy but not too bad. sweet ish too. if your chicken breast are getting expensive, i eat chicken thighs. Taste the same but not as clean..

you can get the sauce at pricesmart, probably other places but ive never checked.

ShadowBun 01-12-2014 11:26 AM

Costco meat ftw.

And depending if you are on a cut or not. When I'm dieting (atm) all meat are just salt and pepper. If I want to 'cheat' a bit, I add some spices into them and onions.

So Since I started 3 weeks ago, I'm feeling a lot better inside. I eat a lot less than I used to but I'm eating properly, meaning not over eating or under eating. I am always opting for a healthier choice in everything. I carry carrots, celery and green pepper that I cut up in case I get random cravings, or when my gf decides to eat junk.

Haven't consumed any other liquid other than water either, and drinking about 2+ liters a day.

My exercise is going great. I'm using apps by Runtastic to get me going, so Pushups, Situps and Squats, these are great apps if you guys haven't seen them before. If I ever screw up, I make sure I go back to the last exercise routine the next time I'm scheduled for. I'm running over 1.3 Miles a day now and everytime I'm done, I feel like running for longer! I don't want to stop, so I usually don't stop until I run out of time.

All around a little sore from time to time, but It's all a part of the process and I love that feeling. Feel great!

I think I'm keeping up with my goal of getting healthy. It's becoming more and more real to me that this lifestyle is not a hard one to keep up. Best of all It works best when you are honest with yourself, that's probably the hardest thing to do (It's easy to think about cutting corners, but your will power has to be stronger than letting it happen).

First time posting in here. been hitting the gym for 16 months now after a year 2 break.

Just hit DL PR today of 315 x 2 with no chalk or belt at 144lbs.
Feels damn good.

if you're trying to get in shape/lose weight dont bother with that long distance running bullshit

if you need endurance to run a marathon/join the military run long distance

if you wanna get shredded...other exercises are way better

Sid Vicious 01-14-2014 05:57 PM

been training bulgarian style lately because i got patella tendonitis and singles are way easier on the knees

been hitting daily singles of between 445-455 with some solid backoff sets...to anyone whos thinking of running this "program"...i highly recommend it. probably shoot for 465-475 next week

Did some volume work on squats today. Tried to do 20 reps of 2 plates, stopped at 14 twice. This shit is tiring.
