Trying to hit 3 plates on the bench before i turn 18

hal0g0dv2 02-17-2014 09:32 PM

good bench. You should try and focus on not moving your feet. Your whole rhythm falls apart try and stay tight. If correct you easily got couple more

Don't go so low that's bad for your shoulders. Here's an example on the proper way to bench

Yeah really hits your whole body pretty hard. I might start training legs and add some leg extensions. :concentrate:

don't push yourself too hard though, hard work might not be worth it

no

i don't let the weather dictate my workout

if its cold out, i try to bundle up so i'm warmed up in the gym, if not i try to do extra warm up sets so the joints aren't locked up

mind you, i was in the gym the other day when i had the flu.. so shitty weather is not comparable

on that note, I was reading up andrey malanichev's (world record holder 1014lb raw squat) commentary on reddit, and apparently he does skipping before his workouts as warmup, and goes for 6-8km runs.

not sure how much of it is actually true, but 6-8 km isn't exactly a short distance for a powerlifter... just goes to show how important conditioning work is, or "cardio" if you will..

at the same time, i'm sure all those liquids he's injecting into his body have some role to play in the recovery. i'm seeing a pattern with alot of the roid lifters, where they respond well to just train 3-4 times a week.. whereas all the natural drug free lifters respond well to training upwards of 5 days a week with tons of volume
