I've been lurking here lately... is this guy for real or wtf? Trolling is one thing, but trolling with your real name and all that? Is trolling that serious these days?

Good luck to the competitors today!

After the gold medal game I was so pumped I went and lifted. The random that I asked to video was an idiot and accidentally switched the phone back to photo mode and only got a pic of me grinding out the lift, I wasn't going to lift it again :(:(

Btw this is all he got: me grinding out 600lbs at 205lb bodyweight.

compilation of my best lifts at the meet... some noise in the background, so added in some music

was there for a total of 10 hours for two events. by the deadlift portion of the meet, i about passed out, so I decided to have my first ammonium experience, shit was pretty strong

very happy with my lifts considering going into the meet sick.. 15-20lb PR for all three lifts as I had calculated. what i did not intend to do, was drop 7 lbs lol. I was literally 182lbs the night before.. next time, i'm bulking to 190-200ish.
last but not least, I hit my very first double bodyweight paused bench. been looking forward to this day for a while

hal0g0dv2 02-24-2014 09:33 PM

Good job

how heavy are the big plates on the bar?

jimzilla 02-24-2014 11:03 PM

All kgs, per side: 4x25,1x15,1x10,1x2.5

Qasual 02-24-2014 11:15 PM

Contemplating if I wanna go to a gym or invest in some compact dumbells. I have a barbell at home with enough plates for my weight, I just need dumbells and some marting for the kitchen area. I could spend about $400 or pay for a membership. Any opinions on working out at home guise ?

320icar 02-24-2014 11:57 PM

For 200 a year on memberships you can have every weight and every machine you can ever desire, not including motivation and help/tips from other members.

Or work at home on budget gear

Also, my backs been buggered for 2-3 weeks now. No gym time. Then i just found out I'm moving so two weeks full of packing, moving, etc etc.,,, pretty low self esteem right now

been feeling some right shoulder pain right at the distal end of my clavicle, hurts like shit when I press on it or do any flat or incline bench pressing. I wake up from it at night time while sleeping when I turn to my right side. Anyone experienced this before?

The_Situation 02-25-2014 12:58 AM

I work out at home now, this is my setup:

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...827_183717.jpg

since the pic i also have some blast straps, dumbells, few more plates and a rack for them. All in, excluding the elliptical, under a grand. there are pros/cons, but I prefer it this way. It's all about getting in the zone, i tell my wife if the door is closed down there, leave me/us alone, i won't respond to her if i'm lifting. once in a while i'll go to a gym with friends and pay drop in.

red_sir 02-25-2014 07:10 AM

Can't wait to see the damage you're gonna do at 200 instant.
