Thats a valid point…since your body DOES adjust to the conditions, of course it is good to switch up your routine that your body is not used to. But having said that, if you are training for something specifically, you cant just adjust your workout daily, it just wouldnt work (unless you are just talking about different exercises working the same muscle? Im talking more about reps and sets etc)

I get real sore if I take a week off, or havent trained a muscle group in a while (ex: legs…im so bad for that lol)

that is not bad i guess, 17 is a good bench mark for biceps

jeffh 10-07-2010 09:55 PM

its not anything to brag about, im jsut being funny ;D

The_Situation 10-07-2010 10:06 PM

Yeah sorry lol I couldnt tell if you were sarcastic. I gotta brush up on my bodybuilder jargon and such

RRxtar 10-07-2010 10:13 PM

im roughly 16". and i definitely wouldnt say i've got big arms

altho when a girl grabs my arm they usually say "wow!" or "nice!" so i guess they are big enough for that. haha

The_Situation 10-07-2010 10:20 PM

^ I gotta measure my arms sometime

Back day today. I tried mixed grip for deadlifts for the first time. The grip is wayyyyy better
then forward grip. Is the stronger arm suppose to be under or over?

RRxtar 10-07-2010 10:27 PM

im a lefty and im more comfortable with my left hand over.

to balance things out, i do standing calf raises in the smith machine holding the bar like at the top of a deadlift, but with the opposite grip.

The_Situation 10-07-2010 11:20 PM

Finally got some "before" pictures of myself. I had to gym rat (verb) to do it.

Went in the washroom while some guy was showering and took my shirt off and started
taking pictures of myself.

Where's the section where I can post pictures and logs without all of revscene seeing it.

rJZx 10-08-2010 12:12 AM

So im new to this thread what is everyone's max for the major lifts?

Alphamale 10-08-2010 12:26 AM

When you measure you biceps, do you guys squeeze and retract your arm until it's at the biggest point?

I gots 15's here...but I also have a layer of fat.

DC5-S 10-08-2010 01:03 AM

If you consider it as not much more than a healthy energy drink (as opposed to Redbull or Rock Star) it's fantastic. I almost never drink Coke Zero now, but it's kind of expensive.

BlackV62K2 10-08-2010 03:42 AM

My arms are 17 flexed.

Sorry I shouldve been more specific, I meant ill change the exercises that I do specifically but still work the same muscle group.

And I'm bad for legs as well, they've always been my least favorite
