Finally got 405lb squat @ 154lb relatively easy...might have been able to get a double if I planted my feet a bit better.

455lb @ < 74kg is my goal for 2015, then I'll definitely consider a competition. got 3 more years before I don't qualify as a junior so I want to be able to set a record.

time to hit dat 495lb deadlift

Going for 115s on incline db tomorro.. current weight round 185 or 183, haven't done flat db or any barbell in probably a year

Never going to steve nash brentwood again, one of the personal trainers basically told me to stop dropping the weight while doing touch and go deadlifts, my form sucks and how he's a worldclass lifter because he all these certifications.

Never encountered such an approach from a fellow weightlifter, let alone a personal trainer that works at that gym.

Yeah I've heard horror stories about the trainers at steve nash. They think that because they took a course, they're physiotherapists. Golds is pretty legit. Only complaint is that the owner won't let you deadlift barefoot.

golds gym in burnaby is pretty bunk, huge ass area but only one squat rack and one flat bench lol

speaking of annoying ass people @ nash gyms.. nash actually has the ability to BAN ppl from coming to their location :

I need a gym that's central to where i work(burnaby), but i travel a lot for work, so anywhere within vancouver would be perfect. Might give Anytime fitness a go. Tired of nash trainers bugging me.

been experimenting lately with a super high frequency layout. 4x squat, 2x deadlift, 4x bench. will report back from hospital
