What kind of exercises do you guys do to help with squats; feels like my glutes are too weak and I can't get out of the hole if I squat deep. I usually do 3 or 4 x 10 set depending if it's the first exercise I do.
I get this recurrent pain in my biceps when I do heavy bench/heavy low bar squats. I'd rest it for a week or so and it doesn't hurt for a bit but after a while the pain comes back, so I'm not sure what I should do about it
There are no principles, there are only events. There is no good and bad, there are only circumstances. The superior espouses events and circumstances in order to guide them.
Anyone can use the "cross fit" section any time of the day as long as there aren't any classes or organized stuff going on. You can squat and blah blah with regular oly weights but they want you to only DL with the bumper weights.
I haven't been there for a while due to injury so I'm not sure how strict they are at enforcing it
For those who smoke weed on a regular basis - have you noticed negative side effects to your cardiovascular health?
I know smoking cigarettes makes a day and night difference, but have you noticed a shortening of breath with weed?
I've been smoking weed pretty much everyday for the past 3 months before bed to stimulate my appetite and induce sleep, but starting to worry about the possible long term effects.
In the end it's still smoke inhaled to your lungs, but I would like to hear any regular user's experience.
I believe cars are meant to be driven. I see zero point in having a beautiful car and never driving it. Might as well have Miranda Kerr in your bed and sleeping on the ground cause you don't want to fudge her mascara...

I went there for a little while, its a good gym I never really had to wait for anything and the rates are very reasonable. The only complaint is I never liked how the floor wasn't that solid in some areas
as much as I'm sure you guys mock crossfit, does anyone have any info on Rocky Point Crossfit?
When we were in Australia we did a program called F45 (at a gym) and it was great for both myself and my wife, we're looking for something similar to keep the focus up and a set time schedule "forcing" us to go helps us both out....otherwise laziness kicks in

I've been twice to the Rocky Point box and thought it was a really good facility. Met a few of the coaches/members and thought they were nice people. Not sure about the coaching standards as I haven't been in a class there.
