^been bout 7 years of rest, he's good I think ...jk

Anybody have experience with only deadlifting maybe once every 2 weeks, and focusing on accessories like squats, block pulls, good-mornings to build your deadlift throughout the week instead?

IMO i would not recommend that. The only way to get stronger at a lift is to perform it.

That's very true, but I'm considering lowering the frequency especially on a caloric deficit because I lack the motivation and energy to deadlift, plus it's really taxing on my body. Maybe I just need to man up...

Hey Sid,

Was just watching some of your videos (particularly the more recent 495lb squat single), and noticed your knees go forward at the hole.

Do you do this intentionally to get the most rebound, or does it happen naturally/without thought?

it happens naturally, ive noticed it happens quite a bit on people who have high bar squatted alot before in the past

and @ iVTEC_Do_You? maybe you just need to modulate how heavy you're pulling each session so you're not burning yourself out pulling heavy every week

sid, first off, easy lift...

Also, I vaguely remember you telling me you had flat feet.. Do you find yourself creating an arch for yourself when you squat?

I've given up on the gym Brahs. Srs. Baby is 4 months old and I've maybe hit the gym twice a week since he's been born. Weak as fuark, small as fuark, gym depression in full swing.

RIP gains.

Berz out.

1. Berz, just bring the wee baby shamus to the gym with yah! Be like those cross fitters who OHP squat while wearing the baby in a backpack

2. Does anyone else feel ill after drinking protein shakes? The last few months I've noticed that after a two scoop shake, I feel noticeably nauseous. This happens with musclepharm and kaizen. Shouldn't be any sort of lactose intolerance as I never have been before (and can drink milk like a teenager)

3. Last night at sports central, saw a cricket in the change room. Get out there and a rat was running around the squat racks. What a shit hole. But at least it's cheap

Whey Protein gives me serious gut rot and nausea. I'm lactose intolerant. I switched to all Beef protein and it's great. No nausea at all.

Berz out.

Do you eat anything with the shake?

I stand by Costco's Kaizen and if I don't have something to eat (handful of crackers usually) with the shake then it either runs through me or I won't feel the best either.

I find food just helps digest all that protein.

Now that you mention it, I usually have it as an in between meals sorta thing. Though with food I still feel like it bloats me. Also I mix the powder with just water.
