LOL
your spotter had a hell of a time rowing that off of you...and you didn't even touch your chest
-I'm using a suicide grip.
-He barely helped me.
-I am toucing my chest. Do you need glasses ?
Also did you know touching your chest is not absolutely necessary ? 1-2cm from your chest is perfectly acceptable. If you have a huge chest that pops up high, ofcourse you're going to touch your chest everytime.

I have touched my chest on EVERY REP, if you don't see this please go get your eyes checked. You're not supposed to bounce the bar buddy. FUCKKKK do I need to train you ??????????????
I think you're moving that weight pretty well dude.
That spotter drives me nuts, he shouldn't even touch the bar unless you need the help.
ROM, that can be debated, and forever will be on the internet. My $0.02 is you flirt with depth and never lock out at the top. It is 4 plates though, I figure you've made those decisions.

Locking out 100% is not necessary and is not recommended. Watch the pros.
If you want to debate with them, by all means, go ahead lol.

He spotted me this way simply because I was using a suicide grip. Don't really want to drop 405lbs on my neck.
Thanks for the positive post though.

Pros at what? There are many different disciplines that do require the lockout and they seem to have no issue. (power lifting and olympic lifting come to mind 1st)
My point is; there is more than 1 way to skin a cat and it all depends on your own personal goals/interests. I'm not going to pick up that book because I could care less about bodybuilding. That is what you're into and that is cool, have a blast. Just remember that people might have a different outlook and we should all be able to have a discussion. (This post isn't really directed only at you LicensedMonkey)

It's easy to talk the talk on the internet. I am telling you he is NOT helping at all his hands are simply there. Does he look like he's struggling in helping me lift the bar ? No. He is saying "it's all me". You think he's trying to glorify me ? I barely know this guy. Come down to the gym and i'll show you in person.
What can you do, this is the internet. If Arnold Schwarzenegger posted something here you guys would start critiquing him as well lol.

What's with the hype on deadlifting ? Most of you don't have the physical build to deadlift heavy. Have you seen what pro power lifters look like ? Exactly. Ease up on the weight and aim on higher reps, none of this 2-3 rep bullshit. You will look and feel a lot better, and your back/joints will thank you. What's the point of deadlifting 500 pounds when you look like shit all around ? Who you trying to impress ? Ronnie Coleman ? Look at him now.

Nice try though.
i think this guy made this video specifically for guys like you lol
I dont get it, you say you need a spot because you bench with a suicide grip yet the video you're benching 405lbs you have thumb over. Regular grip.
As for not locking out, I think its perfectly fine if you're body building as you're keeping
your muscles under tension for a longer period of time.
The only issue I see is your spotter.
Can you imagine the difference in reaction if he had just posted those videos as his first post, instead of shitting on everyone and talking about how great he is?

There are no principles, there are only events. There is no good and bad, there are only circumstances. The superior espouses events and circumstances in order to guide them.
