i was going to the gym quite frequently, about 4-5 times a week. I was getting stronger , but still quite a heavy fellow. Why ? Well my diet was never on proper tracks.. But i stuck with it because i figured going to the gym was better than not. Anywho, eventually i decided to lose some weight. Started taking the EC stack and going hard with the cardio , until one day i went overboard on the stair master, and i ended up going into the hall outside the gym to puke my brains out. Now, i dont know why but this took a huge toll on my mental state, i would try to return to the gym and continue but i couldnt. Any sort of cardio or heavy lifting would give me nausea or bad headaches.
i didnt go for a LONG time. Life got in my way, i got lazy, and i couldnt muster going only to leave 5 mins later when i felt sick. So i didnt care, i didnt go anymore, i ate whatever, got really fucking lazy. I gained ALL and MORE of the weight that i had lost. I was down to 250 from 300, and fast forward my year or more of absence, i was weighing in at 325.
I couldnt look myself in the mirror, feeling like a slob and making the people around me that i love feel lazy like me. Why ? Because i didnt wanna go out, i didnt wanna exercise, i didnt wanna do anything and thus they would stay in with me and do nothing as well.
I enrolled at club16 after my projectile accident (i was at GoodLife then) and figured paying 15$ a month compared to 65$ wasnt so bad if i missed some time. So the months went by and i didnt go back.
Until recently, I heard GoodLife had lowered the prices. So i figured a change of scenery might help , i mean it cant get any worse right ?
And this is where everything turned a bit for the better. I started a meal plan (a bit expensive but it beat buying junk food EVERYDAY monday to friday while at work) i started back at the gym, and got a personal trainer. I know most of you guys will say i dont need the trainer, but it's good to have someone at the moment to push me a bit and make me sweat in a different way, nohomo, other than just lifting weights. a lot of big muscle compound movements while keeping my heart rate up.
Im now at 295 so ive lost about 30lbs, and its only going to get better from here. I also had a lot of health issues and i think it had to do with the amount of CRAP i ate, like mcdonalds/wendys/subway pretty much every day on rotation. And now that im eating real food with the meal plan, i dont feel sick in the mornings anymore and im drinking lots and lots of water. Anyways, thanks for reading if you made it this far... just wanted to share my absence and hope to be back in here with you guys more often
We all gonna make it brahs

Keep it up man, don't fall into the trap of thinking infinite cardio = infinite weight loss. Keep the diet in check, and stay consistent with the exercise. Results will come quicker than you expect.
Just make sure to focus on weights more than cardio. Compound weights are good, making sure you're sweating hard. Finish off with 15-20 mins of cardio and the fat will melt off.
Yea actual lifting with minimal rest far outweighs any time you spend on the cardio machines. 15-20 mins after each workout is all you need if your keeping your intensity up. You should be doing HIIT for optimal results with weight loss.
Hey guys, been awhile since i posted... just given a update! Basically been out of the gym for about 6 months now. only training 2 or 3 times a week with resistance exercises and physio stuff. Suffered a bad Shoulder impingement that led to a rotator cuff injury. Recently been getting better but my whole routine has been fucked. No shakes, no vitamins, shitty workouts, and lots of alcohol . Been given the go ahead from my physio to start again but obviously finding it hard to get back the routine and the fire that drove me last time... Hopefully it changes and all goes well !

almost tear mine too =/ i went from shoulder pressing 60s to volumes of 10lb for like 3 months
+ got my shoulder plates injured with kickboxing.. so more fucking shoulder problems.
talked to my cousin who owns a fitness training chain and gave me an advice.
thought it would be nice to pass it along.
basically he said to make sure not to work out chest and shoulders together or after each other because it gives a lot of stress to your rotator cuff which can cause tendinitis or a tear. Also told me that for recovering, I needed to do volumes, talking about very low reps very high reps 3lb X 100..., 5lbx50 10X20... and slowly put on weight every 1-2weeks.
he gave me this plan afterwards:
day 1 legs with light volume deads
day2 chest and triceps
day 3 cardio
day4 back and heavy deads
day5 shoulders and biceps
day6 cardio
day 7 rest
I'm sorry to give you unsolicited advice but the plan worked for me. Plan to benefit and take care good care of my shoulders and recover faster. now im shoulder pressing 50s again and i cant wait to surpass my old pr.

Anyone know of places that sell knee-high socks that aren't just solid colours? Every deadlift session my shins bleed like fuck, and seeps through my sweats as well lol

i've gone through so many skin scrapes that I now have an area on my shins that doesn't have hair lool... That area is so thick now that when I scrape it, it doesn't bleed

Tested my 1rm for the first time in a while before heading off to europe. Ended off with a 565 squat 375 bench and 585 dl. Lotsa room for improvement looking forward to coming back.
Finally hit my goal of a 405lb squat (BW 154). From the video I can see I went too low.
I'm guessing that's what caused me to good morning that weight a bit.
Now I need to hit this in competition below 145.5lbs with better form.
