Once you get through the pain, you'll definitely be able to pull more as your grip will no longer be a limiting factor. The ROM is also slightly decreased compared to mixed grip.

Anyways, haven't checked up on this thread for a while:

Still currently sitting around 162-165lb, and hit a close-grip bench PR of 225x15 yesterday.

Haven't attempted a 315 bench yet since I failed at lockout ~4 months ago, but I definitely feel it's there. One more 5-week training cycle before I go for a (hopefully) new 1RM.

adidas Men's Power Perfect 2 Shoes - White | adidas Canada

40% off right now, so they're $72+tax

Usually they exclude these kind of shoes from the sale, so better order them soon lol

Anyone know how hard these shoes are? Can I just wear them around the gym? I don't care about wearing them down. I just hate switching shoes back and forth

I walk around with my Adipowers (Which has a very stiff heel) all day at the gym. The Power Perfects are definitely softer.

I have had these shoes for a few years now. Very happy with them. Perfectly fine for wearing around the gym.

Just bought the SBD knee sleeves in a Large from innerstengthproducts at the Richmond oval. Felt fine there, but i just tried them on again for 5 mins straight and it started to cut off my circulation. Does anyone know if it will stretch overtime?

Thinking about adding some dip bars to my squat rack this year, tired of doing bench dips.

Has anyone ever used the bars below? The ebay one is a lot cheaper, but looks pretty shitty using set screws to hold it in place...

You'll get used to it eventually. It stretches a tiny bit, you'll get used to it in a few uses.
