^^^^ kinda what he said, I have only had a shoulder problem once. Having a strong back/developed back improves shoulder health greatly. Also having strong traps and neck helps. I am 6'7 also so i have to watch out for problems like that. Taking time off and away from upper body workouts also helps a ton. Giving the muscle total rest instead of 70 percent resting time. Physio will also help, you are prob not in victoria but mike maxwell over here deals with Olympians. ( victoria )

Oleophobic 07-23-2017 09:54 PM

thanks
saw a physiotherapist and it's just an impingement in my rotator cuff
i'll be doing shoulder stretches and exercises for the next 6 weeks while eliminating overhead presses or vertical shoulder exercises/pullups etc. Can still do bent over rows and horizontal pulls as long as it doesn't hurt.

guess we'll see
it's a total mindfuck not working out for a week. I know a one-week deload or break is good but it totally feels like i'm getting fatter haha

New PR today, 365 x 2. Been over a year since I last attempted 365 x 1 (old PR)
No vid this time, wasn't expecting to bang out 2.

5'7, 205-207lb, 19% BF

Berzerker 08-15-2017 01:05 PM

Dead thread is dead.

Berz out.

SkinnyPupp 08-15-2017 07:50 PM

I'm still going steadily. Up to 210 lbs, though I did gain some fat back since my cut ended in December. Probably 15-18% bf. I went HAM on a dirty bulk for a while, but brought it back down to more like a lean bulk or IIFYM and added more cardio. I don't care enough to eat perfectly all the time; I just do this for fun.

I plan on going to a bench press competition in October, first time ever. I am hoping for 165 kg and up (363 lbs). Bench is the only thing I am powerlifting, the rest is still bodybuilding. That puts me in a higher weight class but again, who cares LUL

After that I want to bring my overhead press up. It's my favourite lift to do. Right now I am doing 75kg 5x5 (165 lbs) and I want to get that up to 100kg with a powerlifting plan.

Currently on a 4 day split

Chest (with 5/3/1 bench press) / Hams
Back / Abs
Shoulders / Quads
Arms

I want to try to fit in a second chest day since that is always lagging. Maybe just doing some bodyweight stuff on an off day would be enough

For drugs, still just TRT, though I do take 10mg cialis pre workout now and it is FUCKING AMAZING for pumps. And the dick gainz are real.

Before TRT I could literally never get a pump. Now I am addicted to it (hence the drugs)

TomDwan 08-15-2017 08:17 PM

What does cialis do to your dick gains? Thought it just made it more hard.

Yup if your boner was an 8 or 9/10 before without ED, it makes it a consistent 10/10

It's not insane but still awesome. Basically lets you reach your full potential

I recommend a low dose, 5mg or 10mg. It's plenty. The full dose 20mg pills will give you a stuffy nose and possibly heartburn and a headache.

Mr.Money 08-15-2017 10:06 PM

stupid question, but have any of you tried cutting sugar from your diet completely?..no cans of coca cola...ect

SkinnyPupp 08-16-2017 02:24 AM

Yes, it sucks

Berzerker 08-16-2017 08:40 AM

I'm a fan of Cialis too. Helped out greatly with reducing my blood pressure.

RIP Rich Piana

Died after he passed out and hit his head. They had him in a coma for a few weeks, but he was never able to recover.

Dude was a really outspoken guy on the sport of bodybuilding and the supplement industry. He was mostly candid about everything. For me he was just an entertaining youtuber to check out. Seemed like a nice dude who was candid about his training, diet, and drug use (even about the non PEDs he used, which may have caused him to pass out)

Sucks man, two famous bodybuilders gone in the same week, from freak occurrences :(

BaoTurbo 08-27-2017 11:07 AM

Yea heard about rich. Rip

Anybody still go to oval?

SkinnyPupp 09-07-2017 07:15 PM

Kind of dumb but kind of hilarious too

This actually happened to me with deadlifts a few years ago... I was doing heavy (for me) 3's and this big samoan rugby player comes and asks if he can do a quick set.. Sure, knocks out 10 reps like it's nothing LUL

Not embarrassed at all, just funny. Always remember, no matter how strong you are, there is someone stronger. And someone weaker. Go for your own goals SeemsGood

Edit: Actually come to think of it, I could probably knock out 10 reps of that weight quite easily now as well..

You can do it!

Berzerker 09-08-2017 09:02 AM

First back to back training day all summer. Schools back and Berz is back.

Still weighing 250lbs without much training all summer. Strength is way down though.

Rich Piana's autopsy results have been leaked, in case you were wondering what decades of extreme steroid use looks like...

TLDR: Not bad at all actually, most of the damage was related to the stroke/coma and probably recreational drug use.

The only truly obvious steroid related damage was his enlarged heart and fatty liver (though most people that age probably have an even worse liver).

320icar 11-08-2017 04:07 PM

i wonder if he just never took HGH what the difference would have been, maybe even cleaner.

SkinnyPupp 11-08-2017 04:13 PM

I think he would have been totally fine had he stayed away from hard rec drugs (it was pretty apparent that he abused opiates, and he admitted to abusing coke and amphetamine)

Sid Vicious 11-16-2017 10:03 AM

hitting some pretty big lifts lately, bw = 200 lbs
585x1 squat
375x3 paused bench
585x2 deadlift

awee yusss

Dave's an idiot lol the only foul play that happened was what Rich did to himself lmao.
You can tell Dave doesnt know wtf hes talking about less than 3 mins in haha. People can live with arrythmias. Arrythmias generally will not drop you like he says. The cardiomegaly is obviously from steroid use. The jaundice is from liver failure.
It should be common knowledge if you use steroids you're going to die earlier than you should.
Significant damage may have been done from the stroke/coma, but Rich signed his death certificate the day he started abusing substances. You can't reverse what happens to your body when you start using steroids.
He would have survived the heavy recreational drug use if his body wasnt already stressed from steroid use.

Dallas McCarver's autopsy: https://medium.com/@anthonyroberts/d...y-5ec5f959163d

https://s3.amazonaws.com/swfloridare...McCarver-5.jpg

If you want a more clear cut case of steroids/HGH causing a death, here it is. Plaque in arteries, enlarged heart (833 grams - average is 300g. Rich Piana's was like 500), LVH, all with a family history of heart disease and hypertension.

Take care when doing steroids! Don't abuse them, especially HGH and insulin

hal0g0dv2 12-02-2017 03:23 PM

lol he was on enough gear for a whole gym
