To those that workout religiously, how often do you change your routine? And how you change it? I been going strong since November and wondering should I change routine; afraid of hitting an early plateau (sp?)

i usually change it up quite often just cause i get use to stuff really quick now
but i don't stray away from dead lifts squats and major compound exercise were u make your most gains

azzurro32 01-11-2010 08:20 PM

What's up with deadlifts? After reading people raving about them I want to try them lol. But looks like can do some damage if done not properly

id say he got light headed from lack of blood flow to the head from the lift. plus the yell after didnt help much.

ive gotten a little light headed once in a while on squats or deads but never to the point of eating a dumbell haha.

are diamond pushups really good or do they work the same as normal pushups?

shoulders and biceps today

!Yaminashi 01-12-2010 09:13 PM

I had a bicept day today. My arms are the strongest they've ever been right now :)
I'm able to do declines with 1 plate each side with an ez grip bar, but only 4 reps

But no matter what my bis never seem to grow! WTF!

jeffh 01-12-2010 10:01 PM

im hearing good things about negative reps for growth,
this Get the Pump book a friend lent me has a pretty good section on building bi's by Mat Duvall

DC5-S 01-13-2010 12:26 AM

tomo im gonna try 85lb DB's bench press.. last time i tried i could only do 3 reps.. hoepfully this time 5

Gh0stRider 01-13-2010 09:10 AM

do you guys do power cleans much?

whats better? seated or standing military press? im doing both, but wondering if i should just stick to one or the other.

!Yaminashi 01-13-2010 10:14 AM

I like seated more, when I stand I find I have more tendency to stray from "good form" and use my legs to push more than I should..
I feel it alot more with seated as well

hud 91gt 01-20-2010 09:04 PM

haha "Women love money, this thing between your legs and of course heavy squats" hahahah I love it.
