Some peoples shoulders have enough range, some dont. I dont. The idea is you never want real heavy loads on a joint at the extreme end of its range of motion.
You know what i meant
behind the neck pullups/pulldowns can place stress on your neck/spine depending on form... thats why i was comparing the two.
lol sorry man I really didn't get what you were talking about at first. I was talking about the rotator cuff, didn't realize you were talking about the neck and spine. I was wondering why you would use pulldowns to compare.

Man I wish I had the time to eat the way you guys do..
you do
it takes 10 minutes longer to cook for 4 days than it does to cook for one
ive been thinking lately, looking at the other guys in the gym that are bigger than me stronger than me
i work harder for sure
so i was jsut saying "well they must be cheating"
and carrying on with my day
so maybe 2 weeks ago i thought about where i want to be in the summer, what i want to work on and how much i hope to be lifting and what i need to do to get there
seems to be some pretty basic changes are pushing me through a mental plateau, so maybe its not that everyone else is cheating
maybe its just im a lazy pile and to get where i want to be, i need to get off my ass
cook half a weeks worth of meals at once, use tupperware to organize so it takes 10 seconds to put a proper meal together. for 2 weeks now ive been working this system, and combined with getting proper amounts of sleep (or trying) i feel better and much more confident about my goals, and less sure that everyone thats bigger than me is just "on the roids"
i guess you could say my "resolution" was to take a bit more responsibility for my own training and worry less about what everyone else was doing

good post. I love chili, so I'll make it all in one day just to have everything set up.
^My wrist has been fucked for about a year now, and ive tried taking a week off but I cant go more than 3 days without going to the gym
I know what you mean. I sprained my ankle a few months ago but I couldn't sit around. So I was doing squats 2 days later. I had to switch to powerlifter style instead of olympic style. Ankle taped up and limped my ass to the gym.
Sprained my big toe on last friday and I was in the gym on saturday. I was limping all over the gym.
+1 on chili. Tasty, lean and healthy. I recommend tossing in handfuls of chopped up spinach as well for an easy way to pack in a few more vitamins and up your veggie intake.

i havent made chilli in a million years, thats a great idear
currenty ive been doing burritos and what my mom calls "pate' chinoise"
which is ground beef and a can of cream corn on pasta
i also buy cottage cheese by the litre now and portion it into 5 containers to take with me to work to go with whatever "main" im having
if i cook 2 things with the same protein and then alternate it makes it a bit more interesting
last week i did steaks for dinners with pasta and steak sammies or quesadillas for lunch

i've been getting harsh stomach aches from my whey
protein. Its myofusion mint chocolate, which in my opinion
is by far the worst tasting flavour. I've drank soy protein
and 10lbs of musclejuice 2544 before with no problems, but
when i bought this, i got bad stomach aches shortly after
drinking it. I usually only take 1-2 scoops after workouts 5x a week.
anyone else had this problem? and im buying a different protein soon any suggestions?
Went to sportcentral today. They got a shit ton of new dumbbells. But now the free weight area is even messier.
Did bis and tris today. I put down my weights to rest and this mother fucking ninja comes out of nowhere and steals it.

^ that's so fucked up. He's stupidly jacked, yet none of it looks good, his traps are like 2 foot tall boxes..
I cut recently for a trip to Mexico, but now I'm back in bulk mode....I wanna turn back! I just feel so obese, definitely not cutting out my cardio, just eating tons, and trying to lift as heavy as possible....was 160 before christmas, currently 174, planning on bulking to 180..then cutting for summer.....5'6......anybody have motivation to keep bulking, or how long I should stay at this weight....I don't want to cut too early. That's been posted before. It's not roids. He just injected some liquid or whatever into certain parts of his body.

If you're talking about sample lactaid pills, I don't know if Reflex or Popeyes has them. If you can drink milk just fine, than I would think it's something to do with your protein powder. Try another brand. I use Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey protein.
