havent done flat bench in a couple weeks...last time i did it i maxed out at 235lbs, and i only weigh ~140lbs . Ive been working out for a couple years, but on and off not really dedicated. Now im dedicated, trying to increase my weight, strength and size.

Back into lifting after having surgery on a broken left radial head in July. Any real weight is making my elbow really stiff, but the pain isn't too bad and in 3 weeks I'm up to pre-injury strength. The positive of the rehab is that my form and speed needs to be bang on to prevent more damage, so I'm really learning how to lift correctly.

No need to get defensive. He's right, if you are truly trying to gain (the right kind of) weight, that is in no way a good bulking meal. Your meat portion should look more like your carb portion, and the carb portion should look more like your meat portion.
