Logging my workouts has helped so much. I feel I'm in a much better place than I was a month ago.
Also, I'm cutting out a lot of bad calories by making cottage cheese my go to snack. It tastes like shit but if you're hungry it's half decent with a tall glass of water and some salted cashews.

I'm noticing after a good workout (be it tricep or bicep) I'm starting to see more and more veins in my arms and bicep area. Weird thing is, one arm is way more veiny than the other. My right arm has a fat vein ontop of the bicep, nothing on the left. Am I a freak?

haha same i just started logging monday and i already feel like its gonna b great, i also eat bowls of cottage cheese alone, it tastes pretty good to me :$, and as 4 the veins i have the same thing more in my right than my left

eating a bowl of cottage cheese + peach yogurt + blueberries and strawberries right now

what a treat

The_Situation 07-07-2011 11:50 PM

I dont know how you guys eat bowls of cottage cheese. I can't handle that

chin3se604 07-07-2011 11:51 PM

the taste of the yogurt over powers the cottage cheese

all you're left with, is the cottage cheese texture

the discount code that I used is ATHLETE10 and it expires on the 13th. They've got a decent deal on casein right now, I picked up 4lbs for $40.

Also I never knew bb.com gives free samples, you just gotta go to the sale section and add em to your cart.

Higher Power 100% Casein Power at Bodybuilding.com: Lowest Prices for 100% Casein Power
:fullofwin::fullofwin::fullofwin::fullofwin:

Got their water jug as my free gift, gonna grip and sip like a bauss:fullofwin:

Btw, I fucking hate cottage cheese. My tip of the day is to just inhale it, and not chew and just swallow and follow it with a tall glass of water.

Fcukedd 07-08-2011 06:14 AM

You add the free samples, and so does the price of your shipping LOL :okay:

Got that water jug as well last order. It's definitely helpful lol. I take it everywhere I go and leave it in my car.

I'm still looking for a workout buddy mentor at the Oval. Thing is, yea I learn stuff online and youtube, but who is doing is right and who is doing it wrong is making it doubtful. Some of my friends go, but the schedules don't always match plus all they want to do is to play ball or to lose weight. I need a buddy that's along the same lines to not necessarily gain weight but at least serious about working out and gaining muscle. Not like hogging the cardio machines all the time to get some exercise into their lifestyle. PM me if you go to the oval too

I think I need to start lifting and benching more into increments. I'm 6' 120lb and I do my exercises around 110 max. Chest lifting 70lbs and not seeing enough results. Yea also need a buddy to spot each other most of the times

6'1 or something now. I'm skin and bones but pretty pinner because I do work out and do sports back in high school. That's why I'm not doing as much cardio anymore or at all, only just to warm up, and running on incline to gain muscle instead. That's why I need a buddy to show me how to gain weight, bone mass, and muscle and most importantly show me how to do it properly with personal experience in the pocket.

I know 6' 120lb is bad:okay: i've seen worse cases but I'm really trying to get motivated and work hard. It's just too hard when I go alone and no one is there to spot me or to teach me, everyone just stares at me at the Oval cuz I'm so skinny and tall or something :alone:

So skinny I can pull off a 6 pack without any effort :( not bsing

Fcukedd 07-08-2011 02:54 PM

To gain weight, you have to eat. If you don't get enough calories in, you won't gain weight; simple as that.

You can use a caloric maintenance calculator to see how much you need approximately to maintain your current weight. Generally, to gain weight, you have to eat an excess of at least 500 calories.

As much as I disagree with this, I also agree. You need some bodyfat bigtime.
Dont be discouraged going to the gym, everyone there started somewhere. Its not like they magically got huge or were born with gigantic biceps, only chuck norris was.

Just push yourself and stuff your face. At this point dont worry about what you eat, just eat

I eat dinner. Work out. Late night snack at McDonalds...then feel a little like shit in the morning.....a little slower if you know what I mean. My digestive system is a little slower to metabolize than average so sometimes I need to take a dump in the morning OR I feel really bad. Plus even worse after a smoke lol shhh I'm quitting already

RRxtar 07-08-2011 04:59 PM

eat breakfast, breakfast 2, lunch, lunch 2, dinner, work out, after gym meal

lots of beef, chicken, fish, multigrain everything, cheese, milk, veggies.

figure out how much you think you need to eat in a day, and eat 3 times that much

none of those should be mcdonalds

come back in 6 months.
