i think mcds would be a lot of help..obvs you need to GAIN weight, ya most guys try and gain muscle weight, but you gain like what 5-10 lbs in muscle ? and that's great i think but for someone being 6' and only 120.. you need some big calories in there lol if you buy supplements, look into weight gainers ? i know it doesnt work for everyone, but my buddy used it cus he was pretty pin'd and now he's a lot bigger because of it (in a good way)

dont get me wrong, fast food isnt a complete waste. but it shouldnt be a regular replacement for real food.

and if you do get fast food, order like some kind of chicken, or some kind of good beef (A&W > McDonalds), and instead of getting fries and a pop get more chicken and a water. hah

Don't waste your money on weightgainers.

But if you really want to, just to see for yourself, go for it. I used to be like that, wanting to try it partly because I wanted to see for myself and partly because of not knowing any better.

I stopped that weightgainer shake stuff a long time ago. Switched to eating real food. Ate more of everything, more often. Weekends are my favorite because i'm off work, so I can eat more.

This is what I buy and eat:
-chicken drums from Costco (used to get thighs, switched to drums for a change)
-lean ground beef burger patties from Costco (not the frozen crap, the real stuff in the meat isle)
-chicken breasts from Fraser St.
-ginger and garlic chicken, also from Fraser St <== stuff is unreal, so good
-striploin steaks (treat meal, cause they're pricey)
-potatoes
-spinach
-brocoli
-homo milk
-whole wheat pasta (rotini, macaroni, linguini)

So basically, almost everything I eat I throw in those mini-ovens. I throw the ground beef in a pan, mash up some potatoes, put them all together - eat. Nothing fancy. I'm lazy, I hate cleaning - all I know is I need to eat.

Maybe this will give you guys some food ideas.

I need a buddy that's along the same lines to not necessarily gain weight but at least serious about working out and gaining muscle. Not like hogging the cardio machines all the time to get some exercise into their lifestyle. PM me if you go to the oval too

I think I need to start lifting and benching more into increments. I'm 6' 120lb and I do my exercises around 110 max. Chest lifting 70lbs and not seeing enough results. Yea also need a buddy to spot each other most of the times

lol @ raising legs. I tried 10 sets of 10 for 225lbs squats today. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but still tiring as fuck.

Definitely without the smith machine. I personally find any pressing movements with the smith machine hard on my joints since it's a fixed movement, compared to a barbell where you can naturally adjust and move around. I personally love the seated barbell military press, fries the hell out of my shoulders.

I think someone also mentioned here before that you want to spike your insulin levels before and after a workout. So that means your white rice, etc...eat it all then. I use this time to eat my family's cooking usually haha

Did one legged squats today...weights werent even heavy considering i used a rack , but it was tiring.

If that was the secret for hard gainers, then everyone would be doing it.

Personally, I wouldn't have. I stuck with eating clean and cooking my own shit. Either it be boring ass meals with yam, chicken and a salad a few times a day. I rather that.
