Not to sound like a dick, but you have A LOT of research to do if your serious about putting on mass.
I'm not trying, and thus is why i'm not very aware of what's right when it comes to putting on mass, i was merely going by assumptions haha. Im the opposite trying to lose weight and gain muscle, and i've been doing very well in that :P

Been out of the game for 2 yrs due to shoulder injury and subsequent laziness.
Back in the game for the past 2 months, mostly cardio and low weight high rep stuff just to get back in shape and having a hard ass time dealing with being sucha weakling after the injury.
Edit: hope you like the farmer's tan. got it snowboarding a few weeks back..
anybody who says you cant get big eating mcds is wrong.. i put on 25 pounds and stayed lean.. 10% bf while eating mcds in a year. it wasnt everyday but majority of it was mcds.. have stopped that now but if you want to get big, its about calories and thats one thing mcdonalds is good for are lots and lots of calories
It's all about metabolism too. There was a point where i'd roll up to a Mcdonals a few times a week and orders tons of chicken nuggets to get my protein count up. I was about 34% body fat @ that period. Even my fat friends were calling me fat, it was frustrating to be spending soo much time @ the gym, yet looking like a fat slob.
Now it's like "yo bro, how'd you get so jacked so fast? you juicing?"
Couldn't have done it without chronic tho....LoL!
I love stalking this thread. I've made a few posts before, mainly asking questions, and got great feedback. Just did real squats for the first time today, 45 on each side, and boy are my legs sore.
This thread also motivates me to keep a clean diet. I went from 300pnds to currently around 228-225, and my original goal of 220 is nearing. Setting a new goal of 180.
300 lbs to 180 lbs. Would it be gay to ask for pics?
I will gladly post pix when I hit my goal. Problem is, I stayed away from cameras when I was that heavy, so i don't have many "before" pix. Posted via RS Mobile
sall good, nice to see that people contribute to this forum in a somewhat positve matter, keep up the good work guys! yeah i went nuts for 3 months going gym nonstop, leaving 2 day rest, gained from 135-155, 20 pounds of mostly lean muscle, decided to stop cause i got lazy but maintained the weight gotta get the muscle going again ahah

if all you eat is mcds to gain you are obviously going to get fat.. I've gained around 17 - 20 pounds from advice from a friend who did a successful bulk also it was 17-20 pounds of lean mass with little to no fat.
damn, how'd you injure your shoulder so bad? Posted via RS Mobile
My shoulder was only in pain and couldn't lift anything for about 6 months. After 6 months of not hitting the gym, it's kinda hard to get motivated again.
Tried going back after I felt better, but I was shocked at how weak I was and kind of just gave up mainly because I was too busy and lazy, but I have some spare time in the summer so I've started going at it again.
It got dislocated while doing incline benches. My shoulders were always really quite flimsy, genetic thing I guess, but it was after 3 sets of flat press, 3 sets of decline and 3 sets of military presses that I was doing the incline.
My spotter was checkin out some girl at the gym so when my shoulder popped, he didn't react in time and the weight of the dumbells pushed my shoulder even more downwards =/

NOt true.. I hate how everybody thinks eating mcds means youre going to get fat.. its about the calories, you eat anything too much you'll get fat even salads.
Anyone ever had elbow pain when they did dumbbell chest presses?
I haven't been able to dumbbell chest press for a month now because every time I do the extension part of the movement, my right elbow hurts. Same for barbell, but not as bad.
What are examples of lower and upper lat exercises?
