My guess is he's not getting bigger because he isnt eating enough. Eating healthy is good, but the calories alone from the quickmass isnt really going to do much imo. He needs the calories from food.

Your metabolism could be slower than his, so he needs to eat 2x as much as you to see the same amount of weight/size gain. Thats probably why you're gaining and he isnt

there is so much fail in this post just.

you want bigger arms yet ur doing 3 sets of 12, thats your first problem
and will repeat for the twenty billionth time in this thread, your buddy is not eating enough. make sure he is squatting and deadlifting also.

haha possibly but i'm just doing what my buddy showed me cus he's been going to the gym for bit over a year, and his triceps are nice n big. He's fit overall. So what are you suggesting i change in it ?

if your buddy looks the same then hes just maintaining. What he has to do is eat more, maybe an extra 500 cals a day for an extra 3500 cals a week which is a lb of fat

If you want to build, you go higher weight and less volume (4x8 or 5x5)

You're doing the opposite with 3x12.

Skullcrushers and dips for triceps will give solid gains.

Other than exercise and diet, make sure you're doing proper form (full ROM)

Tweaked my lower back warming up for my deadlift 1RM today. Slight tingle right now but it hurts when I walk or moves too much. I guess I just got up really awkwardly for the first rep and something gave in. FUUUUUU. Taking a couple days off weight lifting. Still got a soccer game tomorrow.

I looking for something to help me gain weight still. Yes I know food does, but with school sometimes, making food and all that hassle isn't always convenient. I don't need protein cuz I eat meat at dinner. I just need that extra boost of calories in my diet especially in the morning, kinda like meal adder, but not a replacement.

well you should be getting at least a gram of protein per lb of body weight

You are going to get the same answer from people that have bulked or gained weight
Eat a fuck ton, if you azn eat triple and don't wear beaters jk
Supps will get you zero with no proper diet.
Towards the end of my bulk I was eating close to 8-10 k calories a day

hav u guys ever tried eating raw oats sometimes if im in a rush i put like 2 cups robin hood oats in a big ziplock & eat that, 1/4 cup=150 cals 6 g protein so 2 cups=1200cal & 48g protein

Yea eat tons is always the same answer. But eating tons is like telling yourself to cram food in your mouth. Easier said than done, that's why we all look to supps for shortcuts to food and calories. Plus you gotta want it too. You can't just decide, still some want for that particular food.

I get so hungry in the morning nowadays. I think I should eat eggs and then get dressed, then eat cereal and head to school. Or I'm not getting up early enough to time my breakfast meal right sincr I wake up at 10 or 11

like the situation said milk is portable & its easy to drink so u dont hav to "cram a bunch of food in ur mouth", as for ur breakfast instead of eggs, getting dressed, cereal, y dont u do eggs, get dressed, more eggs, cereal isnt rly that good a breakfast imo

^ lol when I was bulking I used to eat so much, but its a lot of work sitting on the can 2-3 times a day.
