you know what's better then going gym 5-6 times a week? The compliments you get from your hard work!
This. Was called 'Captain America' today.
Amazing what 5-6 times/week gym, proper form and diet will do. BTW, just started a new routine created by Scott Herman on Youtube. I'm going for him type of cut/body. I hate the bodybuilder look, those guys are just too big and their 'muscles' look more like tumours. To each his own I guess.
I've searched for the answer to this, but I'll ask here.
Say I want to keep gaining in strength, but get more toned. If I keep lifting heavy, and drink a whey shake immediately after weights, wait 10 mins, then get on a treadmill for some cardio, will I lose muscle mass or is that like the ultimate lifehack to getting the best of both worlds?
Right now I'm doing cardio AM, 5x5 style lifting in the PM. It's eating up a lot of my freetime. I'm not complaining, but in a few weeks I won't be able to do this routine anymore.
i've told u wat to do a million times but its cool if u aint gonna listen!!!
Not everyone wants to look like that. I'd like to see one of those guys strap on a pair of skates and play a game of puck.
I don't think that's what he's getting at. Look at scott herman, he's pretty friggen strong (relatively). I can guarantee you most of his videos are just filler, and he did not get the physique he has by doing all the exercises he does now. Think about it, he's got a massive youtube following. People that make money off youtube just release garbage video after garbage video to get more viewers + subscribers + more video views so they can collect more revenue.
@strykn, I know .. but cardios my favorite. I've noticed im weaker now that I started running again, I just want someway to be able to do both in the same session without compromising either. I know its not possible, maybe time to stop cardio .. btw, if 100lbers broke, time to move upto to 105's, and no homo, but back's getting real thick bra', I was mirin @ superstore.
4 days of vodka'n......now its so hard to get the motivation to get back in the gym....1MR time???

you think you gonna look like jay cutler just cuz you're lifting heavy? you trippin
Call me crazy but not everyone that goes to the gym wants to get 75" biceps and 3' wide backs.
Bodybuilding is a lifestyle and not everyone has the time/desire to dedicate all of their spare time to getting jacked. Life's all about priorities, some people have more important things to do
At least he didnt say "I do 2 hours of cardio and I cant lose bodyfat!"

Fiiiiinally broke 300lbs on deadlift (@ 5'8" 148lb) with 305lb 1rm after several warm-up/working sets leading up to it, after 2 days straight of partying and eating mostly junk on an empty stomach right after work running on some green tea and PWO.
