Question: if I am trying to lose weight, what's the best diet to go along with daily cardio? I am kind of new to this stuff so please include examples as well! I was thinking of a low sugar low carb, lots of greens, fruits etc, is that right?
Also, when would you start to lift during weight loss to tone out your body?
You go to SFU right? Take advantage of the free hour of personal training at the fitness center (I think it's still valid) and ask for Jason. He'll get you started.
I'm kinda happy today. Starting doing DL's 2 months ago because of reading this thread. Started with 25's on each side, took my time doing it right, and today I hit 315 x 1.
I can start relating to the plateau that's probably ahead of me in which I read is frequent in here. Posted via RS Mobile
big props to you man

1 egg: 17 secs
2 eggs: 27
and add 10 more secs for each thereafter. This gets them almost rare? most of it is liquid. So im basically slurping my eggs. This is in hopes that the heating process doesnt denature too much of the protein. It may be a lost cause, but I've been doing it for about 2 years now. Havn't gotten sick from doing this.

a low carb diet (cutting out bread, rice pasta etc) has really done it for me and also interpreting HITS.
A lot of peeps say its super hard to cut out carbs but honestly i use to slam bowls and bowls of rice every day but after being on this diet for 2months, i can honestly say that from this point on, i wont be eating rice everyday with my meals. GL and pm me if you need anything.

rackpulls; I doubled up on weights...in 2 weeks.
when I first began I could only rep 1 plate x8x3 trying to get form right; Yesterday I repped 2 plates x8x3.
Felt so damn happy with my gains....

It's $5 a month, on-top of the $40 a month students are now required to pay for a u-pass that 85% of us will never use. It's cool for those of us that work out, but when you get down to the hard facts, it's not a spectacular deal.
85% ? I don't know about that. But it has always been like that. Now it's so much easier to resell.
Squatting is paying off I think. Able to rep 275lbs 5 times on my last set. Next squat day I'll try 300lbs... pretty sure I can do it. Did 1 plateX20, then 2 platesX12, then 2 plates plus 10X10, then 2 plates plus 25X5 then a final set of just 2 plates to failure. After that did hammy curls, then extensions and lastly lunges around the gym. Threw calf raises in between sets. I had a rough afternoon going back to work. I could barely walk haha.

back in the leg game, finally discomfort from injury is 85% gone. 405 for 8, hoping to get it back to 425 in a month. Going to have to do it gradually so I don't hurt myself. Had to sit on the stairs half way down for a good 10 minutes, hammies were on fire
You must have some balling friends that are willing to pay for parking passes at ubc and sfu. Sell me your upass im not in school this sem.
Why did i stop squatting for 3 weeks?! Posted via RS Mobile
I meant that everyone who goes to sfu and ubc take transit, since parking is insane, but very few people take transit to kwantlen. I'll sell you my upass, pm me.
w000t my chalk is here, can't wait to try it out tonight.
