I would just like to point out that there are alot of different opinions from alot of different people doing alot of different things for alot of different goals in this thread all at the same time.
Just because someone swears by what they are doing, does not mean that it is right for the next person who may be seeking a different goal.
I bring this up because I had an email from a member asking about diet. He basically said he was following [member]'s diet and wasnt seeing the result he was after. The problem was the member whos diet he was following, was seeking different goals (bulking vs cutting).
I think some of us need to be more clear about our intentions with whatever workout or diet we are doing. Sure alot of the regulars know what eachother is after, but some of the not so regulars and new members dont.
By continually swearing by doing one thing without clearly specifying what your goals are, new members may pick up the wrong information.
For example, if a 135lb kid new to the whole thing who does 10 hour days of construction for a living was looking for advice on what to eat, and in the last 3 pages he saw alot of people talking about only eating 1500cals and no carbs once a day, he might not realize thats not the best route for him to take. Likewise if a larger guy who works in an office read that guys like Halo/me/berz eat 5000cals+ a day, that wouldnt be the right route for him either.

What kind of organic peanut butter do you guys use? I bought this president choice's organic peanut butter(because that was the only organic one available) and it clumps up which makes it hard to put onto my bread. =(

I buy the same one usually. Mix the oil all the way to the bottom the first time you open it, use it up within a week or two and just buy a small bottle
Adam's brand from safeway is also good, but almost twice the price.
A few times I've gotten pissed and just nuked the bottle, but i stopped doing that as there's probably god knows what kinda chemicals in those plastic containers .. BPA and all that crap.

Forgot to do my food log for yesterday
Ate first dinner at 5:30pm (19 hours fasted). Had a big chicken steak with some rice and tomato sauce. Had second dinner about 2 hours later. Had broccoli with mushrooms, a big piece of steamed fish with preserved veggies, and a few pieces of sweet & sour pork (super high in sugar). Also had some dried squid at around 9pm, and a glass of whisky which I do every night, but I don't think that counts
Not sure what that all breaks down to, but I'm sure it's not 200g protein.
One thing I have noticed on this diet is that when I get up, it's straight to the toilet for me. Dumps are like clockwork - huge perfect turds, and at the same time every day |

Squats 280 x 15
OHP 135 x 16
Dead lift 315 x2
6'0" 189lbs
Damn 5x5 is getting tough!
I use Thrifys brand natural crunchy peanut butter. Says to refrigerate but I didn't figure that out for a while and had no issues. Gets way to hard too spread/mix

Adams Natural Peanut butter comes in a glass container. as was said, I stir it real well the first time I open it.
If you leave it out its real smooth, so buy the big container and keep refilling a small one. Put the big one in the fridge and the small one in the cupboard.
Ive left a container out for a few weeks before I read that it says to refrigerate. I didn't shit my pants and it tasted fine.

I dump every day 10 minutes after I walk in the door from work. Never sooner, rarely later. Sometimes Ill get another one in the evening, but honestly, I think its more of a case of my body being bored and saying "hey we're at home, what the hell" than anything because I never get caught when Im out. In the last 5 years I dont think Ive had more than 5 "oh shit" (get it?) moments during the day. Maybe my body is used to the working man with no shitter schedule.
And thats with a 6 meal, 5000cal / day eating program.
I know so many people who have exploding ass at multiple random times a day. Chalk it up to weak genetics brah

First week back on the water after a 3 week layoff.
15 min, 10 min, 5 min, 10 min, 15 min / 2 min active rest.
Right after the last piece, I barfed.
The upside is that I got to eat another dinner. |

It basically comes down to chicken breast and pork tenderloin. Anything else blows up your macros.
900g pork tenderloin = 1080 calories/185g protein
900g chicken breast = 1026 calories/191g protein.
Compared with tastier cuts:
900g beef rib eye = 2466 calories/157g of protein.
900g pork shoulder = 1674 calories/157g protein
900g beef short ribs = 3492 cal/129.6 protein
Stupid delicious animals

Yeah I usually let myself 'top up' with 1 or 2 protein shakes a day. That adds about 50-60g without adding too many calories. Definitely want to keep that to a minimum though. Solid food FTW
