THIS. That happened to me one time using our ONE squat rack. I told the guy I would have 2 or 3 more sets, and I have to rest between them, and that he should maybe do something else and I'll let him know when I am done so nobody cuts in. He proceeded to stand RIGHT behind me while I worked, pacing back and forth and jumping around "warming up" with a pissed off look on his face. So I was in extra no-hurry mode :troll:

GOD MODE!

hal0g0dv2 10-13-2011 08:06 PM

the best is when u ask to work in and there like uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

SkinnyPupp 10-13-2011 08:08 PM

I never ask to work in when possible, just go find something else to do. I hate it when people ask me, so I just figure I'd offer the same courtesy. Unless I see someone really dragging ass, sitting there doing nothing while I could have finished my whole workout.

That's it. I must hit 2 plates by the end of this year. or i will slap myself.

RAWRRRR HERE I COME

Jas29 10-13-2011 09:05 PM

noob here wondering what exercises i can do at home to workout legs.

I have dumbbells, a bench with a leg extension thing on the end, a ez curl bar, a regular bar and a stationary bike.

so far i've been doing weighed lunges, calf raises and riding the stationary bike

Excelsis 10-13-2011 09:10 PM

put dumbells in a backpack and do parallel squats, jump as high as you can with dumbbells in both hands, and do some lunges

that's what i did :fullofwin:

chin3se604 10-13-2011 09:13 PM

different variations of lunges. squats, stiff legged dead lifts

something about morning workouts really lower my strength, especially for squats, so i try to avoid them as much as i can, i lift around the same as you, squat 170 5x5 a2g, trying 175 tomorrow, deadlift 245x5 @140lbs

also got bored of 5x5 as well, it helped alot though, going back to regular training monday, planning on doing smolov jr 3 week routine for bench, in a month or 2

Phozy 10-13-2011 09:20 PM

Hold dumbbell in front of you do a front squat.

Squat with your regular bar.

Leg curls

Leg extentions.

Stiff legged deadlifts

Yeah.. cheated a bit today and got some pump going. Im 20lbs lighter than you, guess if i gain 20lbs ill be lifting as much as you do :D.

TouringTeg 10-13-2011 09:29 PM

Same I am bored of 5x5 and tired of sore legs from squatting. I want to do more running again and do a few more half marathons in 2012.

Did back/bi/tri tonight Not giving up dead lift though! Still want to hit 3 plates more than 2 reps.

It's crazy to feel the pump in the arms again. Trying to put collar down on my jacket, can't reach lol

SkinnyPupp 10-13-2011 09:30 PM

Romanian Deadlifts

Dumbbell Snatch

Dumbbell Squat

Calf Raise

Turkish Getups

Jas29 10-13-2011 09:41 PM

Didn't think people would respond that fast thanks everyone for the suggestions will try them out tom

AAnthony 10-13-2011 09:43 PM

LoL! at the last vid "real jock gay fitness community" where'd you find that one :troll:

those dumbbell snatches looks pretty ruthless on the shoulders. Speaking of rough shoulders....mine's clicking a lot less thanks to turkish getups :fullofwin:

SkinnyPupp 10-13-2011 09:44 PM

lol I noticed that, I just searched for some dumbbell turkish getups and there they were! Though you have to admit, gay dudes probably know way more about fitness than straight folks ;)

SkinnyPupp 10-13-2011 09:50 PM

Actually if you are interested in TGU it would be a better idea to watch these:

Also one more you can do, I do these all the time:

Wow, thank goodness that's never happened to me, but that's fucked up.

TouringTeg 10-14-2011 09:44 AM

Happened to me a few times. You think I just left 280lbs on the squat rack with the clips on? Maybe ask someone before you start removing plates. *end rant*
