JDął 10-26-2011 09:19 AM

Ian when did you become such a beast? :lol

I hate being tall, my arms are so long I have to move the weight so far for each rep. But I incline benched 225x6 yesterday with no spot :fuckyea: I'm proud of myself haha

TouringTeg 10-26-2011 10:06 AM

Was 6'0" 165lbs and got really tired of people calling me skinny. Started with isolation for a few months then discovered Stronglifts in Nov 2010. I hit the gym 3 days a week consistantly. Now I'm 191lbs and waaayyyyy stronger. Feels good!

And damn... nice job on 225 incline!

Not going to lie, but i would have done the same. 90% of the customers wont even know if they really do have degrees unless they had to show proof.

Work called me today, and now I have to miss a day of working out . FUCK :fuuuuu:

Maybe I should go to a 24 hour gym tonight..

JDął 10-26-2011 03:17 PM

Has anyone here tried German Volume Training? Looks interesting though I can't see giving up some of my proven effective exercises. I might try mixing in one of these workouts every couple days just to shock my muscles a bit.

It's good every now and then for a shock. I used it when I plateaued on barbell bench where you do 10x10 adding 10lbs each set working up to your 10 rep max. It's pretty harsh, be prepared to go balls to the wall. :concentrate:

Also I feel ya about having long arms man 78'' reach here been working forever on bench and finally got 300 @ 182lbs

Splmash 10-26-2011 04:51 PM

Power cleans and DLs for an hour and a half yesterday. Feels sooo gooood today.

I've been plateauing at 405lbs for my DL max =[

Excelsis 10-26-2011 07:46 PM
