Maybe your form is wrong.

You may be thinking about a lifting belt.

Hmmm that could be a factor actually cause I just do according to videos

do lifting belts help protect the back?

They can but in my opinion I'd only use a belt when I'm going stupid heavy and that's the only time you should even let your form slip a little bit, and that's when a belt should help you.

For everyday, you shouldn't need a belt. Stop lifting weights wearing running shoes, squat/deadlift in socks. Focus on your form and strength will follow.

My favourite workouts? Lately, overhead press. Feel so badass doing it, and when you load up more than a plate on it, people think you're going to deadlift it, then they see you pressing it after lifting it off the ground, problem?

Yah I am stuck at 315x2 reps for DL as well. I DL with socks only but I still haven't tried chalk. I'll start doing rackpulls. I used to do power shrugs on shoulder days I will start it again at the end of my work out. Really want 315x5!

If my gym has no power cage and only a squat rack can i still do rack pulls by putting a platform there to give me more leverage? Haven't really seen that before though.

Yesterday was squat day. Did 8 sets 4 reps with 315. Never been able to keep that endurance up for that many sets. Btw I weigh 152.

why on earth would you want 8 working sets unless you're on a straight powerlifting routine?
up the weight man you can obviously handle it.

Rack pulls are really helping my DLs. I've been at them for 2-3 weeks now and I've been able to pull up 3 reps of my old max (4 plates each side)
