You should always be lifting in deadlift form. Don't they tell you that when you get the job?

So it looks like I'm gonna have a training partner soon. I usually prefer to go alone but one of my buddies from work is 200 lbs (I'm 202 lbs), is trying to bulk to 220, and follows the same "leave the ego at the door and lift properly" that I do.
Gonna give it a shot.
This is our work gym. Walk out the door, walk 50 feet farther and grab dinner after.

Nice dumbbell setup, I like it when they put the heavy ones ont he top rack. All the DBs at my gym over 70 lbs are on the floor under the racks so you have to slide them in and out to use them
Other than that, yeah lots of Hammer Strength machines. What is there in the way of barbells so you can do some big compound lifts?

Those hammer machines are sick. Awesome Awesome Awesome for isolations. I miss having those Wicked DB's too. I like those enclosed ones with no bolts and plates to loosen and rattle.
Berz out.

Weighing in at 183 (5'10"). Trying a new preworkout pill, Athletic PreSurge. Post workout stack protein, creatine, glutamine, and dextrose.
Diet change, starting off with about 5 meals totalling ~3000 calories.

Good luck
ugh this guy took 1 hour on the squat station.. came in gym he was there, doing warm up still there,
wanted to do deadlift so i wasted a bit of time doing pull ups and dips.. still there then i'm like fuck it,
so i did leg presses and benched. Props to him for doing 20x405 deadlifts, dunno if he was on the juice

I wish all DBs were completely flat and even ended like in that pic. It makes it so much easier to rest on your thighs right before you lift off.
The DBs at the Oval are different than what I'm used to. The DBs I used to use, like for instance the 70lbs DB, actually looked like 70 lbs, and were longer in length. At the Oval, the 70 lb is a lot shorter, and looks like what a 45 DB would look like. Some people may understand this; having a longer DB works better IMO. When the DB is resting on your thigh before your set, your hands are higher up, which means your arms don't have to lift the DB as much as you sit back. Your legs don't have to travel as much to help you get the DB in the air either.
Sorry if it sounds confusing.
People who have gone from Richmond Fitness World to the Oval will probably know what I mean.

Gaining like crazy on GOMAD. It's almost scary. From 189 lbs to 195.8 lbs in 8 days = 6.8lbs
Going to hit 200 in no time.
Hit new PR squat 285lbs x20 reps too
