Tried out the liquid chalk. It's pretty good on 300lb deadlift. Drys out my hands but doesn't provide as much grip as regular chalk. I will use it until it runs out then switch as long as my gym allows chalk. It comes out very runny so you have to be careful not to drip it everywhere.

Anytime man, your form was instantly better. Once you get used to it you're going to see major improvements in your squat strength. You want to have that same stance for your deadlifts!

Skinned my shin doing DL's yesterday Little blood never hurt anyone. The scar tissue from Muay Thai on my shins just peels off really easily so when the nurlings on the bar scraped my shin on the pull a big chunk peeled off lol.

Futureshop was having a 50% online sale yesterday for headphones

I've been using etymotic mc3/mc5 ... super durable (all metal), amazing sound (great bass crisp everywhere else), crazy noise cancellation, and low impedance for use with mp3 players.

http://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Research-Noise-Isolating-Earphones/dp/B003S3RFJ0
Buy 'em I recommend them to all my friends. I have beat studios (totally marketing hype .. wouldn't buy again) and some professional line headphones at home (way too big for gym/ need external amp), these stack up pretty well considering their price/size.

Been doing each muscle twice a week for the past 2 weeks doing splits. Dunno if I'll keep doing it as I don't think I'm giving my muscles enough time to recoup. I'll give it 2 more weeks and see how I feel then.

i overhead press in the squat rack.

you can curl anywhere in the gym. especially the people curling the bar plus 10 per side. you cant find a 60-70lb barbell anywhere in the gym cheif? how about over there on the fucking barbell rack that has 20-120lb barbells

actually on saturday i worked in doing overhead presses with a guy who was doing squats. brb military pressing as much as you squat.
