Lolkai: Yes some do believe that grains are evil and that we were never meant to eat grains. Is your friend talking about leaky guy syndrome?

On another note, are complexes almost the same as supersets?

what is the best vitamin supplement to take? I'm currently taking multi vitamins from Progressive but I'm running out. If you guys could also list other supplements I should/should not be taking I'd really appreciate it. So far I'm taking multi vitamins, fish oils, glutamine, phytoberry(Progressive), vegegreens(Progressive) and mutant mass(switching to myofusion after). Thanks in advance

hmmm... I wonder how long it will take me to catch up.. I pulled 3 plates plus a ten for 3 the last time I deadlifted..
I keep on freaking out though since I have had issues with my traps in the past after deadlifting heavy. I'm doing more trap work now though so hopefully it will hold out..

One thing I realized the last time though was that fingers are pretty fucking amazing.. think about this for a second.. it is taking your entire body to lift that weight but just 10 fingers hold all the weight for the entire time.. Well unless you are using straps. I am trying to get popeye forearms so I dont use straps for anything

he was being sarcastic...

No, it actually does work pretty well…the reverse back hyperextensions. Its very low impact, and also works a little core in it too.

I agree. They are nuts! My deadlifts have gone down big time. I was doing 3 plates and a 10 for 5-6 reps but I have since stopped doing the mixed grip(T-Nation article conviced me to stay away) and had to drop it down to 2+35lber. My grip is definetely improving though. When I first switched, my hands could barely hold 2 plates.

quick question guys;

1. Do any of you know where i can pick up some lashing straps?

2. I m planning to make a few sand bags - 25lbs & 50lbs. Are you allowed to take sand from the beaches?

TIA.

RRxtar 06-14-2010 10:48 PM

i dont think you're allowed to take sand from the beaches. but you can buy about 2500lbs of sand from your local landscape supply center for about $20. ;)

A quick tip... From time to time Save On has pre marinated Chicken breast on sale for $1.99 a piece. If the chicken breasts are small its expensive. From time to time I find someone accidentally puts big chicken breasts in there and then it works out well.
Today I bought 950 grams of marinated chicken breast for $8. That is cheaper then buying it in big packs unmarinated.

Rinse and repeat. Works well for me for cutting. I dont believe you can target certain areas for fat loss, just overall fat loss through either working out/cardio/diet.

For bigger arms, I would try doing 5-5's. 5 sets of 5 reps, heavy weight. Probably with at least 60 seconds of rest.

I heard (might be wrong) that you can tear your muscles pretty badly and end up getting scar tissue instead of muscle tissue if you use too heavy weights. Is there a general rule to prevent this?

RRxtar 06-15-2010 04:36 PM

I fucking love steak.
