i bench 225 to my chest 8x no problem. I squat 315 6-8 times parallel no problem. I barely deadlifted 315lbs once. i don't get it what am I doing wrong? maybe my technique? i've watched so many youtube videos seems like I'm doing it right although it is kind of brutal on the shins.'

weighing in at 183 lbs today down from 263. officially lost 80 lbs :fuckyea:

G-spec 12-22-2011 02:55 PM

you guys are fuckin crazy man, deadlifts scare the shit outta me...

known a lot of guys with years and years of gym experience who have thrown their back out doing deadlifts, and im talkin like out for months at a time.... had nothing to do with improper form, just the risk factor of deadlifts is so fckin high no matter how good you are at it...

Excelsis 12-22-2011 02:56 PM

what

deadlifts is my favourite exercise :fuckthatshit:

you're not going to hurt yourself if you have proper form

no comment on the DL since thats hard to answer without knowing more..

but congrats on the weight cut! I remember you were having problems with your lifestyle getting in the way of your cut. Did you alter your lifestyle or just find other ways to help with the cut?

Berzerker 12-22-2011 03:25 PM

wS6TA what kind weight do you row? I db row 115 for sets of 10. I think rowing helps out huge. I've always had really good row weight even though I didn't do a lot of back work in the past. I think also the fact that I did labor intensive jobs for my whole life (was a Mover for 5 years and Landscaper for even longer) I have a lot of dormant back muscle that is finally seeing some action in the gym. Also explains my decent grip strength. In the back flex pic I posted a few pages ago my forearms look fucking thick. I never see them from that angle haha.

Berz out.

No way to tell what they use to determine these arbitrary 'scores' but since skim milk scores higher than full fat milk, I have to assume it's pure bullshit :)

Also, none of it really means anything. Are they saying that eating a bunch of oranges and blueberries are as good for you as eating a meal of salmon, avocado, and milk?

That being said, all the stuff in the left column would make awesome juice :sweetjesus:

I do a lot of cardio related sports, soccer, basketball, football, I don't like the feeling of my legs giving out this is a big problem for me

I been on ephedra/caffeine mixtures last few years, they work extremely well, but dont wanna fck with ephedra no more been lookin for a healthier lower risk replacement for years now

If you want to be able to run for a long distance, you need to train in running for long distances. And you NEED to keep it up and do it regularly.

Because unlike strength, which stays with you practically forever, endurance goes away pretty much as soon as you stop doing endurance exercises.

Humans are meant to be strong and fast, we're not built for endurance. You have to train it, and keep training it.

So pumped. Bodys full of good carbs + protein ... just waiting for gym time. Gonna murder legs, hopefully my groin/hip flexor holds up and doesn't bother me too much :D

had to sacrifice man. even when I "eat out" now its strictly 1/4 chicken breast + salad no dressing.. carbs are pre/during/post workout only now. Protein is at 300g. dropping the first bit of fat when your just a fat tard is easy but when the bodyfat % starts getting low it just doesn't work. getting used to eating extra lean turkey breast is a challenge for me but the talapia and chicken breast aren't a problem anymore :fuckyea: I vary my protein source on every meal. turkey/chicken/eggs/fish/whey

I tested at 16% bodyfat. 183lbs. I'm trying to get to 10% its so fucking hard but its going to get done.

I got tested because with xmas/new years etc. coming I know the dieting is going to be impossible. January 3rd will start cut again. Since dec 17 (jayz concert :D) I'm eating healthy but not how strict I was for a little while there. Plus the drinking is coming back.

:accepted:

Excelsis 12-22-2011 07:21 PM

Here's a challenge.. Try to get to 5%

I can still row 120lb db's 15 times. or 225 on a barbell. My forearms are the most lacking part on my body. I started using straps when I shouldn't have now I can't get a decent workout done without them.
