Tried half serving of Razor 8 Saturday and holy shit it hit hard. Took about 45 minutes to kick in and felt like I'd just had 5 cups of coffee. I didn't have an amazing work out or anything. Just felt ramped up and kinda jumpy. The crash was pretty bad. I felt like sitting on the couch all day. Better to do it around 4pm then crash and go to bed.
Will try Assault next (have a sample) and full serving of Razor 8. | sounds like u react the same way to razor8 as me. if u think 1/2 is intense, 1 is a whole new level. sometimes i had to stop drinking with about an 1/8th left just cause im way too fucked up already i dont get that with any other preworkout though lol

Alpha you felt nothing from a full serving?! Crazy. I saw another person here didn't feel anything either.
Yah I felt sooo sluggish for hours. Yep will do Assault Thursday. Full serving.
jer3: you felt it right away? I didn't notice anything until 30-45mins after.
Was busy with family last 4 days so I am reading the last 6 pages I missed haha

I see! Yah I have no idea what gives you the rush. It looks like it has some kind of caffeine in it? (I have the same 2 serving Razor 8 sample)
Felt like a rush of energy like you get from caffeine. I felt really jumpy so I was constantly moving around between sets and felt high strung. I didn't feel aggravated or short tempered like I have heard happens to people. I am generally a very calm level headed person but I could see some people getting overly excited, aggravated, or impatient.
I generally have good energy at the gym without a PWO so I doubt I will continue taking them after the samples. For me, my energy level ramped up high then came down really low after about 5 hours. Not really worth it to me because I didn't find I could lift more/heavier.

Last time I was at the gym, these guys were using this machine in PAIRS
One would be doing the rows, and the other guy would be PUSHING from the other side. Like not "spotting" him (as if you need a spotter with this fucking machine) but PUSHING it |

my goals are no bad workouts. simple as that. if im in the gym i want to be getting shit done. whether its strength or volume, i want to continue to crush my workouts like i have been lately.
the loose plan is to eat everything in sight until beginning of march, clean up diet in march but still eat a ton, then start a strict cut in may.

Other than that, the gym isn't the greatest. They're missing one 100lb DBs. Small area with one squat rack. But it looks like no one does DLs or squats at that gym anyways.
It's full of old Asians and Italians and a couple gang-banger brown kids. One of the kids ran into me while I was doing a set so I was like, "he's an idiot" to my friend. The kid turns around and threatens to knock me out. I'm like | i went there for a bit in the summer a lot of LGs went at the time LOL but yeah no one deadlifts or squats there. i believe i was the only one actually doing it for the 2 months ive been there.

I'm thinking about starting a "2012 Fitness/Health Goals" thread where we all chip in our goals and at the end of 2012, we take a look at how we all did. Takers?
These couple pages will just undoubtedly get lost.
