yeah been doing reverse grip lat pulldowns the last few back days ive had. amazing exercise. feel it much more in my forearms, biceps and lats then the regular wide overhand grip.
Interesting, I've considered it but didn't think it'll be as effective as regular grip.
Going to stop with all the 1rms after I get 2 plate squat and DL for reps, and do more 8-12 reps for a couple months. Excitedd :P Posted via RS Mobile
Doing 1RMs every workout is not going to increase your strength effectively. Follow an actual strength program designed for a specific exercise (bench, squat, deadlift), and watch your numbers go up.
Had a sick back day last night. Worked out next to hanh champion.
He came an hour and a half in my workout so i looked like a pussy lifting light ass weights

Anything where you are PUSHING weight from your chest. So bench press, dumbbell press, dips, cable press, etc, etc. You could also do flies or use the pec dek machine.
Targeting minute parts of each muscle is best left to the roid users. Everyone else, just lift heavy and eat a lot, you'll get big.
Who is this "Jenny" and how do I get her number????
I got it, 867-5309.

the only real effective way ive found to 'target' anywhere on my chest has been with cable flies from low pullies and moving your hands in an arc from down wide to up to above head height. seems to hit more outside below the armpits and if you cross your hands over (like hugging a tree) and squeeze you can hit the inside of your chest (cleavage).
alot of people say you cannot target parts of your chest as they are just one muscle, but there are infact 2 (really 3) major muscle segments in the pec and while you cant hit each one separately, you can hit one more than the other.
flies seem to hit the clavicular band more specifically. and that builds more chest under the armpits and more of what alot of people call the upper chest
you want to pull the cable pullies in the same linear direction that muscle band runs
here you can see the definite separation in brocks pec muscles.
in the pic below on the left side you can actually see all 3 bands of the guys pectoral major.
on top of that, i can flex that band specifically. i can harden (flex) my pec, and then squeeze more and noticeably flair out that clavicular band further. i dont have a big chest, but i can do the titty wiggle.
