5 sets of squats 195lbs 1 set 8 reps, 225lbs 3 sets 8 reps, 315 1 set 4 reps (knees started clicking so i stopped)
chest:
inclince DB press 90 lbs each hand 8 reps 5 4 sets
flat bench DB press 90 lbs then super set with 45lb flies 5reps/5reps 3 sets
negative bench press 135lbs 4 sets 10 reps
3 sets of push ups to failure
Man it was busier at the gym yesterday than usual new years days... A lot more girls than usual but nothing great
Saw an older guy doing dumbbell deadlifts with 5 lbs dumbbells, and his range of motion was literally less than an inch. He was just rocking back and forth about 1cm while watching TV
haha i saw a guy the other day who i think was doing dumbell shrugs with 5lb or 2.5lb weights. but all he was really doing was bending at the elbows. he mostly looked confused and then left.
also saw a guy whos going to kill himself for sure but this time he was doing barbell with the bar and 35s curls. but he was using the most incredible hip thrust to throw the weight up as far as he could, and then sort of run 3-4 steps forward to run under the bar to finish the rep. meanwhile in the squat rack there were 2 kids doing barbell curls with a 2.5lb weight on the bar. i hate my gym.
Yeah you guys see much worse things than I do at my gym.. The worst I'll see there is people just not knowing what they're doing. Lots of the women there ONLY use those hip squeezing machines and ab machines... Which is weird because the 'training' is free there, unlike other HK gyms where the entry fee is cheap but you are hounded by commission based trainers on stop
