This almost went to fight club but me and berz talked about it, and we both respect halo even if he is a bit of a fraud. He kind of dug himself into a hole he couldn't get out of, and I wanted to give him a chance to come clean on his own, and keep most of the respect. If everything else is legit (though we have to assume he's not drug free despite claims but whatever), I think halo will regain most of the respect he has gotten. Thing is, dude still has an impressive physique and there was no need to post fake pics! He may not be a complete freak, but he still probably has the best physique here (minus legs?) For those wondering about the fake pic, it's Dima Anisimov an up and comer from Germany. The guy is a fucking insane FREAK and NO WAY would this be possibly natty: http://i.imgur.com/Osj4m.jpg http://i.imgur.com/tjuUR.jpg http://i.imgur.com/S5YyI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/8RJ1Y.jpg Those shoulders! And them lats! |

Gotta get mad coconut shoulders…gimme gimme gimme. |
for what its worth i believe everything halo posts to be real. what he lifts, what he eats, what he takes, etc. i started to wonder what was up when he wouldnt post back pics. i can only imagine living with the guilt of posting that picture and having to dodge questions of it for the last 2 years must have easily cost him 20lbs and 2 plates a side on his DL :troll: you're going to get a hard time for this for a bit, because man, you be fraudin on something so many take very personal and are real self concious of. you betrayed the workout thread community and the private bb log group. but admitting whats up and posting some real pics is a big step towards making things right. keep posting numbers and good advice and itll blow over. knowing where you started and where you are now, youve made serious gains and have amazing dedication. but if you fraud on anything else ima break your damn knee. now get to the gym you phaggot |
and this is when you know this is a pretty closely-knit community.. this thread is priceless |
oh no....what did i miss |

oh by the way guys, when you want to increase your muscle size you have to not think of your muscles as muscles, think of them of something really big.. like a mountain, mind-body connection is prolly most important thing.. and flexing whilst looking in the mirror helps too. If you really want to kill your quads flex as hard as you can for 5 minutes, the next day you'll be walking sore as fuk lol |
this was last year when i used straps, have not since http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/4...0520h42m08.png Uploaded with ImageShack.us http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/342...0520h42m39.png Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

High intensity workout as in with weights? If so, unfortunately, not much. A HARD rowing workout at a 6 minute 2000m pace (that's insanely fast) only does about 1100 calories an hr and that's going balls out, seeing red by the 1 minute mark. With weights, lets say you can keep up the rowing intensity for half an hour (I assure you, you cant), that's only 550 calories. Assume you decide to do interval training with a 1'/1' cycle, that's only 15 minutes of work and you'd be destroyed after that. Congrats.. maybe 300 calories. |
oh and today is recovery day from brutal workout yesterday. Volume training hurts. 10 x 6 squats @ 235 10 x 6 military press @ 75 Been stalling on 5 x 5 and 3 x 5 so I'm experimenting with high volume at much lower weights than 1 RM. |
My whole upper body is sore as hell. Legs are sore too but the least sore. Squats tomorrow! |
^ 75 each hand :suspicious:? |
Whoever isn't in the BB group please post here, too many PM's over the last day to go through. If you are a regular poster (lurkers are NOT welcome) you will get an invite. It's basically a place where we can post progress pics without it being out there. We trust each other not to do anything with them, etc. |
requesting an invite thanks |
caught the flu from coworker...fuuu no gym for a few days! |

That's actually good news for me as I always assumed doing heavy squats and deadlifts will easily burn 500+ calories. We tend to do pretty similar exercises when we hit the gym; probably a bit more isolation for me. How much calories do you think you burn per workout? Thanks for the rowing example btw. :fullofwin: |
me too pls |
well i went to the gym tonight, many new faces I don't recognize, but nothing that I need to use is used up :woot2: anyways, i start doing my bench (am alone, benching on smith) and I notice a girl mirin me, and continues to constantly look at me until i LEAVE the gym :fuckyea: can't wait to turn legal enough to smash :okay: |
