When doing conventional deadlift, should my back be more at a 45degree angle or closer to parallel to the floor, but not quite?

Can someone find me a vid to the proper way? Still experimenting..

Seriously, ss by rippetoe. It just came out for kindle for $10

The trial copy contains ALL of the push, squat, and MOST of the deadlift chapters. Even if you're a cheap bastard, go read that and you will learn a shitload

Take it with a grain of salt, ignore the belt if you don't want to wear one.

Also did deadlifts today with higher volume at the end of my workout, 275 x 5 supersetted with 225 x 5 (no belt this time).

First, those scales are worthless.

Second, bf% is just a number.

Mirror, measurements, photos, ability to make chicks wet are all much more useful

I counted 6 people at the gym today, normally there would normally be 40-50.

I could have put on a pair of skates on and used those to get to the gym for a bit of cardio, might have been safer too.

after workout I saw a couple big dudes from the gym smoking weed in the parking lot. I thought weed and bodybuilding don't mix? i dunno.

bet a buddie in nov. id get to 165lb by february 15th so roughly 25lb, at 150ish rite now and he is convinced we agreed on 160lb lol

ive been stuck at 150 for like 3 weeks partly because i got my bf pretty high and got nervous, then lowered it abit without losing weight and also dont rly wanna gain more bcz i am making solid gains rite now with the amount of food i am eating, if i win the bet i get 100$ to spend on food hehe

maybe get on creatine mono and gain some water weight maybe 4lbs in 4 weeks i retain water pretty well i also got a 15lb bag of mutant mass that i dont touch bcz it tastes like shit and i eat real food now

basically i duno of i shud try 2 win the bet or lose and gain weight slowly like 2lb a month

lol if you're planning to pack on that much weight in 4 months then it's going to be mostly fat

good thing you didn't bet on getting 165lbs of lean muscle

Had a killer workout. New pr for deadlifts (3rd week in a row). Also new pr for neutral chins 270 lbs total for 2 reps, and pyramid down from there. Also started doing overhead press with Olympic bar, 110 lbs for 10 reps, started low since I'm working on technique. Hope to get that up to bodyweight soon

Deadlifted today and worked out lats.

3 sets of 5 reps at 335lbs. And then did 405 lbs for one, and 435 lbs for another.

Weighed in at 176lbs this week.

my back is so soar, i did rows but i put the pins at the bottom of the squat rack so when u are at the bottom you stop and you just pull up like you are in the start of a deadlift and u squeeze at the top then hit the bottom and pause on that bars, really good for bid back and lats.
