blkgsr: I added tricep dips to workout A but otherwise did everything as posted. I still did crunches and prone bridges and when it got easy I tried variations to make them tougher. Such as prone bridges on two medicine balls and a bosu ball under my feet.
I did inverse for a while but quickly switched to barbell row 3x5.
As for how long? I would keep doing it until you stop making gains. Then you can switch to 3x5 and 1x5 if you want, or another program completely. I am doing what berz suggested a while back which is alternating between barbell and dumbell excercises each week. (eg one week dumbell press and the next time bench press)
I almost ripped a fucktard's head off today at the gym. I was benching today and as I was about to lockout 315lbs, two ducking new years resolutions skinny fucks walk by and bump the edge of the bar away from me. 315lbs came crashing down on my fucking rib cage. Good thing my spotter lifted that shit off me or I would of been in serious pain. I then started to fucking bitch at those guys. They just fucking stared at me like I was crazy or something and to piss me off even more, one of the guys said oh sorry engrish not good. As they were skinny Asian fucks, I started a new bitch session in Chinese at them and I ended off my rant with something along the lines of if I see you guys anywhere near me when I'm working out I will choke you to death. I then continued on and destroyed the rest of my workout.
Just looking back at this, if the shithead was to bump the bar towards my head, I probably would of been dead or at the very least be breathing out of a tube right now.
I should start carrying police tape around when I workout and make a personal comfort zone boundary

is it bad to workout a muscle again if its sore, my triceps are a bit sore from 2 days ago but i wanna hit them again
in stronglifts u do legs 3 times a week so they are always sore, but they still grew like weeds
when you get to heavier weights (say 300lbs etc on squats or even much lower) you obviously don't just show up to the gym and start right at 300lbs correct?
you warm up but do those warm up reps count towards the 5x5?
He might be natural... if you look at that pic his traps were big when he was "fat"... he might have had a ton of muscle underneath the fat...
it also doesnt say how long that original transformation took... just from 2009 to July 2010... so could be anywhere from 6 months to 18 months

As my gym membership is expiring soon, I decided to give YMCA a shot (friend used up a guest pass for me).
This was the Langara one, and boy it's a tight fit. When doing squats atg (Not in the power rack), it doesn't leave much room for someone to pass you or workout on the tricep pulldowns.
The cardio area reminded me of a farm, with TV embedded screens on all the treadmills, arranged in a 6x6 pattern. People droned into their tv's.
Kind of disappointed with the gym, Sports Central definitely is a better option at the moment.
P.S. I like the eye candy there, but it was more of a distraction

funny story today.
went to golds gym richmond around 630pm. bought a 1 month pass a few weeks ago from teambuy for $15. i'm about 2 weeks into my membership and i was told when i tried to go in today that the owner, victor newman (the chinese guy in the ctv interview about fake kinesiologist working as trainers), has decided to ban all teambuy members and memberships starting today.
obviously i was like wtf and told them that my membership was paid for already through teambuy. they told me i needed to get my refund from teambuy and that it was out of their hands. the workers themselves seemed kind of lost in this issue too and i don't blame them since this is essentially bullshit. i believe up to maybe 500-ish people signed up for the deal so im pretty sure there are going to be a lot of distraught customers they got to deal with and a lot of lost business over this deal.
so basically, fuck golds richmond, ubc and langley. fuck the sketchbag victor newman. they have single handedly fucked themselves in the ass with offering this deal than pulling it not even a few weeks in with no notification at all.

Were you at SFU? can't imagine your condition if you were alone. Pretty sure those guys couldn't get that bar off you no matter how hard they tried.
Had a decent workout today, even though I am sick. Squat rack was taken of course, so I did deadlifts instead. Wasn't trying to build on my 330 though, so I kept it down for 2 work sets. I just about passed out after the last one
Press went well too, 121 lbs for 7 reps was the working set. Then I did those laying triceps extensions for the first time in quite a long time.. man I love those. Did 90 lbs x 7 for my top working set

lol no surprise at golds being sketchy.
Teambuy and all those deal sites are pretty good about giving refunds so go through them. If they don't respond in a day or two, then call up CC.
need motivation to gym tonight.... not looking forward to it....got weaker and I dont like that feeling of stepping down weights.
