I usually just have something light, like fruits, granola bars, cup of milk.
Go in, warmup, then go heavy to fully wake myself up.

For 6am I take abt 10 mins to wake up and drink water. Then jog 5 mins to my gym. Have to start with light weights for first set.

For chest monday I did decline DB bench first got up to 110lb DB's on my last set. Then I did incline DB press and got up to 85lb DB's (pretty impressed with that as I normally can only do that much fresh) supersetting incline skullcrushers. After that did some cable crossovers superset with Tri pulldowns. Ended the day with Dips superset with close grip pushups.

Day 3 of Creatine and Alanine. I was focused as fuark at the gym today probably the best workout I've had in a long time. Still hovering at 190-193lbs but dem der delts are really starting to pop!

Berz out.

Eat next to no carbs, cut as much salt as you can. Basically you could drink nothing but protein shakes for the next few days, and you could lose as much as 10 lbs depending on how much water you are retaining. Some of it will be fat too

noob question: unsettled stomach after working out - is that normal?
it's like a pukey feeling.

I think the word you're looking for is nausea.

It's not unusual to have that feeling when you're starting out, it's just your body telling you it's physically exhausted.

just got home from my first day of 5x5, went as follows:

squats 95lbs
Bench 115lbs
Barbell Row 95lbs still need to figure this one out, using 25lbs going all the way back down seems a bit tough, i don't think i had my ass up high enough and was bending over enough....was just trying to keep my back parallel to the ground

push ups 24/8/4......very sad i know, how long should i be waiting between sets?
reverse crush was able to do the 3x12

amazing how much squats destroyed my legs lol, could barely get up from my sets of bench press lol

don't worry about going all the way down with barbell rows, when you get to 45 plates it'll be easier, just go as low as your arms go and don't round your back

ok, one of the comments on the stronglifts site was to make sure you go all the way down, but i don't want to put more stress on my back if i don't have too

just trying to read all the write ups on the site to make sure i'm going to have the proper technique

Your barbell should go all the way down, to the ground. Like a deadlift

Reset your back position after each rep. Start reps with hip drive, not knees. This is a higher rep exercise - 6-10+ reps. Don't go too heavy on these

yeah but how much lower do you have to go to reach the ground with 25's or 35's?
