That's fine man, it's your choice. As long as you acknowledge it is nothing more than personal preference, and it has nothing to do with "quality" or anything like that. Much like how you prefer not to eat raw fish.

So here's a weird one...

How do I even out my traps, lol. Just starting to develop visible traps, and one side is more defined than the other. They also don't seem too semetrical either. One side seems smaller too. Is it my posture?

Happened to me, and they're still kinda uneven. Switch your grip often when deadlifting (very important assuming you do mixed grip @ heavy weights) and when you do barbell shrugs use a moderately wide double over hand grip + straps (unless you can double over hang grip how much you can shrug without straps). What I've been doing and they've begun to even out nicely

Fuck why did there have to be a container full of BBQ peanuts in my house .. low carb and so tasty definitely went over my cals for today lol.

Guys on bulk, please go buy some nutella, kraft PB, and bbq peanuts and report back to me on how amazingly tasty the foods i can't eat are

yep. mcdonalds uses top of the line beef in their burgers alright

Quote:
McDonald's confirmed that it has eliminated the use of ammonium hydroxide...in its hamburger meat.

The company denied that its decision was influenced by a months-long campaign by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver to get ammonium-hydroxide-treated meats like chicken and beef out of the U.S. food supply. But it acknowledged this week that it had stopped using the unappetizing pink goo — made from treating otherwise inedible scrap meat with the chemical — several months ago.
U.S. News - McDonald's drops use of gooey ammonia-based 'pink slime' in hamburger meat

you could argue that since its USDA-acceptable that it is good enough for you. but fyi the USDA is a government agency that caters to lobbyists as much as any other. and 30 years ago didnt they tell us that carbs were the best form of nutrition? howd that work out?

and if there was nothing wrong with that meat, why has mcdonalds stopped using it, right in the middle of their push to half assed upscale their image?

Nice thx for the advice. I've been using the same mixed grip since I started DL about 7 months now. I think that's the problem.

Yeah id suggest rack pulls to get used to the weight, and ive heard that it helps with the peak of your deadlift (when youre standing straight)
Just started doing them a little while ago, my deadlifts have improved A LOT

So are you referring to the meat, or how it is (well, was) treated?

And if they used ammonia to treat the meat, what about that is bad? are there studies that say its bad? Do people get sick for it? No, you have some goofball clown on tv making a scene, and using provocative imagery and words to get people all upset. It's nothing more than fear mongering, unless it really is bad (which I don't know, but I assume it's not)

Anyway they apparently don't use it any more, so my argument became doubly valid

Was doing squats today and as I'm unracking the bar ready to squat, 5 brown guys come behind me and ask me how many sets I got left. Had my music blasting so I just ignored them and did my set.
After that I told them I had 7 more sets

When someone asks me how many sets I have left I just tell them we can go back and forth but just make sure you add/remove the weights so it is the same when it is my turn.

Bitch please. The gym I started out with consisted of free weights going up to 80 pounds and a cable machine. Work with what you can .
