if you recognize me from SC come say hi or ask for a spot
trying to improve my powercleans lately so I have more explosive power for takedowns
any suggestions? I cant seem to get my elbows fully up with weight.. I can only do 90% perfect form with two 10 pounders on a olympic bar
What I'd do in your position is keep the workouts as they are, but fix the diet. Try low carb or cyclic ketosis diet. A lot of people hate on low carb diet but I've noticed a lot of brown guys can't lean out without a low carb diet. Probably because we all grow up eating 80% carbs for every meal lol
My diet is like this:
Spoiler!
Breakfast:
4eggs/4 pieces bacon style chicken
Snack: 1 scoop protein, handful almonds
Lunch: 2 chicken breasts cut up, mixed with oikos yogurt and put into a wrap with veggies
Snack 2: oikos yogurt (1 serving) .. sometimes I throw in a handful of nuts
Meal 2: 6 presidents choice blue menu angus sliders w/ mustard, water
OR 20 President's Choice blue menu meatballs w/ mustard
Preworkout: 1 serving instant oats (20g carb) + 2/3 cup milk (10g carb) + 1/4 scoop whey for flavor
Post workout: 1 whey shake, 1 banana, 2 chicken breasts chopped up and cooked in a pan w/ 1 tbsp oil, some soy sauce, and herb and garlic seasoning and some veggies (throw in whatever I got .. asparagus/celery/spinach/mushrooms)
bedtime .. I also got casein shake. If I'm really starving and can't sleep I'll have the shake, but its rare that this happens.
I tried to make it as easy as possible .. cook my chicken the night before and then just heat it up + eat as I need. Usually just put a little butter ontop + seasoning salt and stick it in oven for 30 mins. So far I'm doing good losing weight pretty gradually + staying pretty strong thus far. Gonna probably have to cut out more carbs to really shed weight.
That's my ideal day btw, I'm not 100% dedicated .. I'll cheat every once in awhile and eat a spoon of peanut butter .. can't resist
damn dhillon i cant eat like that lol
i love my roti and samosas too much
i think one of my probs is i dont do any cardio and im having the toughest time getting my shoulders stronger and bigger

Don't do cardio man lol ... diet is a much better way to get shredded, if you don't believe me you can ask my brother who's 6'0, 190 lbs and can't get a 6 pack. He does cardio every damn day but no results. I keep telling him to get on a good diet but he doesn't listen lol .. maybe once I lose weight he will lol
The cravings for roti/samosas go away pretty quick dude .. takes a week or two but your body adjusts
gonna stop focusing on lats a lot and focus on thickness, getting too disproportionate, i used to do one back workout width, one thickness (deads) but now im just gonna do deads every workout but one workout high volume, the other low
skinny when you said arms can be trained 6-7 days a week without overtraining them,
Spoiler!

does that mean you can do a routine for example
back bis
chest tris
legs delts
arms
repeat?
honestly dude doing biceps everyday will get you nothing
last year i did not do biceps for like 2 or 3 months no joke and my biceps grew more then they ever have, take a break from doing biceps, i dont mean triceps i mean biceps, have your biceps ever felt sore after a back workout ? well mine are sore sometimes after back and that is cause you work your biceps. there is this one kid in my gym and he does biceps for like 2 hours 3 times a week and swear they are getting smaller.
i generally only do biceps when cutting just cause it looks sick and get them conditioned, when im bulking i never do biceps, there not going to shrink
