There are all types of diet when it comes to dieting, I have been dieting for about 4 months now and it has been the best diet so far. I am not depleted and lack energy. I still eat carbs and enjoy good food but I limit myself. Most ppl want to diet and get super low body fat but most ppl don't have the mussel mass to do that and being that low body fat and living day to day is just not practicle,

I started with just cleanin up my diet and going from there, gradually lower calories, I made the mistake 2 years ago by eating no carbs and I went to waste

Dieting takes a while and you got lots of time so don't panic if u r not 5% body fat like alpha was

How strong is your control? During the 4 months, have you had a bleh day filled with chocolate or other bad stuff?

Is the occasional bad day, few and far between, really make a big difference whether you get to your goals?

I almost cheated this morning .. then I went to the washroom to take a shower looked at myself in the mirror, saw progress and decided it was probably best that I didn't Dem bitch tits be fading

Not eating junk food = your taste buds get used to less sugar and become more sensitive to it. Also more amount you eat effects your stomach size .. a day of cheating can make the next day 2x harder because the food will now taste like shit + you'll feel more hungry. I've even forgotten what real sugar tastes like and I just use my protein powder to make everything sweet lol.

Been feeling hella depressed lately. Breakup shattered me. No motivation to train, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep. But Phozy has lit a fire under me. I'm back and ready to destroy.

Result, I'm pretty sure I have a herniated disk and I've spent the last two days in excruciating pain. I likely put my gym progress back at least a month.

Fuuuuu...that sucks. Never had any major injuries to deter me from working out before but all of us should stay careful because, chances are, the vast majority of us have the "it will never happen to me" mentality.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Reading these posts about don't pushing it...we need to make a sticky.

Myself and a couple of other guys posted this some pages back - but this active thread is tough to keep on top of.

It sucks getting injured

Edit: Forgot to mention, I always tell my friend that is new to lifting, to practice form with the majority of weights. Yes, that means that 10 lb'er you are picking off the ground. I go at it slow, and lift with my knees/correct back - It looks stupid, but at the end of a heavy workout, you never know what might be the one thing that tweaks the muscles.

imo Alpha has one chance to explain himself and if he doesnt/cant, ban his fucking ass from the Sports forum.

This work out thing we got going on here is a tight little community. No room for phaggots.

It's not about being a noob. I say, sometimes we get caught up in the pump, we lose ourselves. And think, "easy."

It can be 60% of your personal best or reaching a new rep max - either way, if you don't really focus and get that form good, that's when injuries happen.

I'm not saying don't push yourself, but know your body.

4 plates @ 161lbs really isn't impressive enough to call BS over.

5% body fat is pretty funny though.

Video of 325

Based on your back pictures, I would guestimate your max DL to be in the 205 range, maybe less, maybe more, depending on form.

Unless that was someone else's back
