Felt pretty damn shitty today. Didn't get enough sleep and decided to go heavy with bench press. Good thing someone was keeping an eye on me or I would have decapitated my head... I just hate that feeling when you don't get enough of a workout and you go to the gym expecting to get a good pump. Oh wells, caffeine next time I go workout.
There are no principles, there are only events. There is no good and bad, there are only circumstances. The superior espouses events and circumstances in order to guide them.
started to count my macros and turns out i'm like 70g over protein, only at half my carbs, like 500 calories short. fats were okay.
so i decided to cut a lot of protein out (harder than it sounds), and add in more carbs. i'm not at 5 meals a day + pre workout snack, post workout snack, and bedtime snack.
added a ton of fruits and veggies too. boy my shits have been so good lately with this new diet and it's only been 2 days LOL.
diet guideline is 3500 calories, 155g protein, 116g fat, 460g carbs. i'm 155lb bodyweight atm.
thinking of reducing carbs and increasing protein on rest days, does this sound reasonable?
i'm going for a really clean bulk. i was on a really inefficient bulk prior, where i just ate a shit ton and resulted in me putting on poundage too quickly, a lot of it being excess fat.

What's your diet consist of atm? Im looking to cut my carbs by half(eat rice almost every meal), throw in more veggies and fruits to fill my stomach, and more whole protein.
Trying to only consume carbs for breakfast, post workout, and dinner, not in my snacks.
Aiming at 3000 calories, 130protein, 100fat, 300gcarbs, at 130lbs atm.
Having whole grain bread with 2 eggs and an apple for breakfast
Chicken with bacon and carrots for lunch
Snack
Steak/ground beef and an egg, rice w/ assorted foods/veggies for dinner
Snack
Snacks are usually bananas, nuts, milk, etc, post workouts protein shake. Milk with almost every meal

that is good, i only eat carbs well oatmeal for breakfast and during workout and that is more or less it for carbs for the day when dieting
i use to think you need to eat a ton of meat to get all the protein i need but i realized there's small amounts of protein in my other food that add up.
i only eat a palm sized piece of whole protein 3 times a day, and eggs in the morning now.
lets see... i have 2 eggs, 3 slices of whole grain bread, 4 cups of milk, 1/2 cup of cheerios, 3 bananas, 1 cup of oats, 1 tbsp natural peanut butter, half a can of tuna, 1.5 cups of rice, 3 servings of veggies, 1/4 cup of almonds, 3 tbsp of raisins, 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp butter, 1/2 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp flax seeds, 1 orange, half a chicken breast, palm size steak.
that's 3450 calories, 164.81g protein, 117g fats, 411g carbs. based on The Calorie Counter
true story.
What I don't like is people grunting CONSTANTLY when they are doing pussy weights like tricep kickbacks or curls. And they don't grunt as part of a breathing technique, they grunt like they are being fucked in the ass.
felt unstoppable at the gym tonight, set two PBs: worked up to a set of flat db bench 75lbs x 6 and added 5 more lbs to more hammer strength incline bench.
im gonna go scoop some peanut butter in my mouth thanks to all this pb talk
If anyones getting sick of regular scrambled eggs, a few moments before your scrambled eggs are done add in 2 slices of processed cheese, some cooked ground beef if you like, and add a lil ketchup .. I like to tell myself that its macaroni and cheese with beef ... looks kinda similar ..tastes nothing like it though
Ate a carton of eggs yday ... I can see why you eat so many eggs halo. Macros are perfect, easy to make
