What do you mean? All the weight rests on my traps and my wrists "balance" the bar in place. I'm not pushing/pulling the bar. | I ask because whenever I squat, I end up having some of the weight go into my wrists and cause discomfort. Someone else posted a link or video quite a few pages back instructing that the thumbs go over the bar instead of under to avoid any sort of strain on the wrist.
I tried it and it has remedied my problem for a bit but relies on the flexibility of having your elbows pointed out as much as possible, a flexibility I don't quite have much of yet.
I noticed that your grip on the barbell seems to be "normal" so I thought that you may be feeling some sort of strain on your wrists, especially with all that weight.
Guess not, though!

Heading out now. I popped an advil, but I am not going to do bench press today, I think that is what started the flare up issues in my forearms. Dumbbell press will have to do.
Other than that, standard workout of 5x5 squats, deadlift, and some kind of pull, probably barbell rows.

Guess not, though! | I don't feel anything in my wrists. Sometimes if I go super heavy, I feel alot of strain on my front delt/upper peck area (the part that stretches as you hold the bar)

As promised, here are my videos. These aren't so much 'show off' videos obviously, but more like 'this is where I am' and a form check if anyone has advice to offer.
330 lbs deadlift. This is either a new PR or at least tying it. Sorry the video sucks and you can't see the actual weights... I'll do a better one next time. SKIP THE FIRST 40 SECONDS, it's just me concentrating and trying to get my heart rate down for the lift. I am always excited when attempting to PRs, and need to chill out above the bar for a bit.
I also made a video of my 4th set of 5x5 squats @ 220 lbs. I think I can move up to 225 next time.. Even knocked out an unplanned 6th rep
Edit: Also notice what everyone in the background is doing in the DL video... CURLS CURLS AND MORE CURLS! Even some assisted CURLS going on |

Nice PR on the deads Skinny. Hope to hit 330 DL eventually. Maybe it's the angle of the video but it doesn't look like the hip joint is coming down lower than your knees.
Sick vids Jimzilla. Looks like high bar position?
I've recently switched from high bar to low bar for the first time. I'm finding it very difficult. I may go back to high bar.

Thanks I'm not sure it's the angle, I have to shoot a better video next time and go from there. If it's not low enough I'l have to work on my toe angles or stance width, because I am going as low as I can to have some 'spring' to bounce back from...
Reading SS again while watching this video, I need to put my knees further out, to be able to go deeper and get better hip drive. I guess tht's why it's helpful to make these videos, even if they aren't at very good angles lol
