but how is it that bodybuilders can have such low BF% but yet so much mass? In terms of intensity or volume, it's really not that high... and to my understanding, they don't do alot of cardio as well.. Roids do make a difference, but unless it actually aids in the process of losing fat, i don't see how it could contribute to it..
Ive been wondering for the longest time. RS Injection crew?

bb's in the off season are huge and pushing like 260-300 pounds
so when they diet down they have so much mass to begin with that is why they are freaks when they are in contest shape
Had a craaaaaaazy workout yesterday. Hit a new high for 20 reps squats (230 lbs) and overhead press (138 lbs). Did decline barbell bench for 2 plates x 5 for two sets.
Then I FINALLY figured out how to use lifting straps. I used them for 95 lbs dumbbell rows for 25 reps (5x5). There's no way I could do more than 1 or 2 reps without them. And then I thought I would give deadlifts a shot with straps. So loaded up 3 plates per side, and pulled SO FUCKING EASILY.
That leaves me with a dilemma.. I obviously have really weak grip... well behind the rest of my body. So do I use straps on really heavy pulling exercises like rows and DL, or do I try to train the grip to catch up?
How the fuck do you train grip anyway? Obviously they get trained with assisting these pulls, but that's clearly not enough for me.
well i dont mean wrist curls but like hard to explain you can even get a dunbell right and hold it and curl it up to your forearm
worked for me and i have pretty big forearms
Anyone experienced this before when lifting? Been having problems with my left palm recently. When doing DL/BENCH or something heavy with dumbbells, it feels like my palm/hand is going to split in half. I am scared to lift heavy now since i get that feeling now and then
skinny, try doing fist clenches and hold them for 3-5 seconds. I've done this as apart of my martial arts training for years, and my forearms are probably the strongest part of my arms...
There are no principles, there are only events. There is no good and bad, there are only circumstances. The superior espouses events and circumstances in order to guide them.

Nahh, i do it during practises, and when i train, the punches i do really help strengthen my forearms. If you do wall sits, you can try doing fist clenches and for like a second or two while youre doing the wall sit, but make sure the wrists are extended, youll be able to work out the flexor muscles more that way...
I also do pushups, and believe it or not they really help strengthen the forearms if you do proper form (chest directly overtop of hands)
In terms of strength, id really stay away from wrist curls because it places too much stress on the wrists and could be pretty damaging. Grip strength really does help alot with lifts and sometimes its what could give you that extra edge in whether you could take on another plate...
