Ugh...didn't get to my PR in Deads at 345, but hit 335Lb. Was drained like a wombat, I was mixing the two with chin-ups right after, for some reason.

But....4 Plates easy, by the end of year. And I'm actually starting to like cardio, was doing ellipiticals and was drenched after 5 minutes, keeping heart rate above 175 most of the time.

Bicycling to and from work today plus back/shoulders tonight. First time riding the bike to work and took about 20 min ride as opposed to 10 min drive.

I've been slacking on cardio since racing in a 10k then half marathon recently. This will force me to get more cardio

It's a good gym man, I usually go at lunch time so around 11:30 - 1:30, pretty quiet. I go twice a week in the evening too, like Friday nights. Not too busy at all man, there's more than enough room and access to stuff 80% of the times I go whether night or day.

Incline should be at the lowest incline level possible. Any higher and you're using your shoulders, totally un-necessary.

Everyone who trains there looks like they do competitive bodybuilding... It's definetly a good motivator though cus most people there put in their max effort all the time...

Is that guy who looks like Wolverine with a brown GF with the massive tits still there?

He use to be lean and huge then he just gave up or so it seemed. Cool guy though.

Nice lift man,

I noticed your right hand always goes slightly lower than your left. You might wanna pay attention to that next time.

Good shit berz!!

I was going for 90s the other day and couldn't pull it off (current weight 178lbs)

Do you warm up with a lighter weight first? If so what weight?

On DB I do 2 warm up sets at 50% 15 reps. Then my working sets I increase 10lbs per set and decrease reps. I start at 70 for 10, 80 for 8-9, 90 for 7-8, then 2 sets of 100's to failure.

After that I go flat DB's and I start at 100's and see how I feel from there usually ending in 110's for 4-5 but only 3 sets. No warm up just straight into working sets cuz your already warmed up from the incline.

Then cable fly's and weighted dips.

Berz out.

^hmm, if it restricts your ROM that much, it might be a good idea to rest it off for a bit first before liftin that heavy... But you def are playin smart by doing incline bench as opposed to flat bench, cus flat bench is gonna put u at risk for further tissue damage

Regardless though, solid lift...

Berz have you tried neutral grip? Does it help? If you recall, I was complaining about bad shoulder pain for a while here.. For the last 4-5 weeks, all my chest work has been with neutral grip (db work, dips, cable press) and I haven't had any pain since.
