I think motivation is lacking for a lot of people because they've worked so hard for the last 6 months, and this should be peak season of the summer, and the weather is dogshit. It's been warm enough for me to wear shorts outside ONCE let alone be at the beach or out doing other activities. It's a serious drain on my motivation that's for sure. It's like we've put in all this work for nothing. Fuck Vancouver.

I'm bailing and going to Portugal for the summer, so I'm trying to stay focused until I go because I'm sure I won't be hitting the gym every day once I'm there.

Yeah, first introduced by it from Halo in fact. Been using it for awhile but deciding to jump off it now because I'm tired of having nasty shits in the morning lol. I guess its just my body and how it reacts to it.

I have a bottle on sale but its currently pending.

Completely agree with you there, haven't really been as motivated as before to hit my last goal.

Best way for me to get a solid night of sleep is Phenibut. It doesn't put me to sleep like melatonin, but seems to keep me there and I wake up rested, like I am now.

Still phearing the 3RM power cleans though

Smashed the gym today, new prs in all compound movements in both weight and reps, after a day of work too! Feels fucking awesome. Weird how my best days are always after work on a sunday with no food before it.
I finally understand the importance of a workout journal. I'm able to see past weeks progress, and there lies the motivation everytime i hit the weights, and i can see what works or doesn't too. Was always doing linear progression, 5x5 style so i never used one, but the LN program made me write things down.
Thanks for the ZMA btw Jsilver .

Good day today, yay for holiday

Yup it's good shit. 100mg should be enough I like to taper up and then down between 0-300mg over a few weeks. Would actually be great if you're feeling shitty due to the weather these days

Do NOT take it with SSRIs or MAOIs

I survived power cleans for the first time. Started relatively light, 145 lbs, so I don't kill myself. Feels pretty alpha doing these, and I think I'll have some nice bruises on my shoulders

Looking to build up by 20-40 lbs over the next 4 weeks

It's probably one of the easier lifts you can do, a good way to get started. It's basically a deadlift into a front quarter-squat. Easy shit. Full cleans will be harder, then you add jerks, etc

That's where "don't knock it 'til you try it" comes in

Or in my case "read the science, it makes sense"

Just make sure you are well stocked on BCAA supps.

Are these supps like melatonin in the sense that prolonged use can affect ones' ability to have a restful sleep without taking something?

Also..

Would you recommend leangains for a bulk? From what i understand you have that 16 hr fasting period and an 8 hr eating period.
I imagine that if you can burn (2-3000+) calories in 16 hrs and eat 4000+ calories you can build muscle while losing fat at the same time.

Agree/disagree?

Taking old formula of jacked for the first time today. Considering how I'm somewhat sensitive to caffeine, I'm interested to see what'll happen hahaha.

I wouldn't recommend it for bulking. Too difficult to get a calorie excess in that short window. Building muscle while losing fat at the same time is virtually impossible natty.
