Today was the best workout for these two older pinner Italian guys. One of them always tries to bench 3 plates. He basically does 1/4 rep while his friend is doing a front squat while spotting him. Later they were on the Hammer Strength shoulder press machine and the guy was basically sitting on his friend's lap facing him helping him out.

How is SC in Richmond? Times to avoid?

I go to a small family operated kickboxing gym. I like it because even though they have little equipment, the benches / squat rack are always available to me when I go after 7pm. No douchebags and friendly environment. Gym is closer to home. But they close 6pm Sat+sun.

But just recently, I have a couple of friends who have started to get into working out and getting fit. They signed up at SC because of convenience of 24 hours and their crazy work schedules. And it seems like they're really motivating each other. I've always worked out alone and find myself to be self-motivated. Thing is, I live in Surrey right by Alex Fraser bridge.

Worth the switch over? I'm currently paying 30/month.

Nice meeting you man. You're a pretty big guy yourself!

Squats were meh. Just did the bare minimum. Today was one of those days I would've stayed home if I hadn't already promised to meet a buddy.

What times do you usually hit the gym?

That's a far ass drive to go to the gym. It's worth it if you want to work out with your friends, but just as a gym itself, I'd look for something closer to home.
