Guy at the gym today wearing those douchey bedazzled jeans and trying to curl 60s with the worst form I've ever seen. Also maxed out a cable machine doing tri pulldowns using his entire body.

What I have done is set up a little competition with my friend in four lifts:

Standing overhead press
Bench Press
Deadift
Squat

We race each other on who can lift the most by a certain amount of time, and whoever loses treats the other to dinner. Just something small to keep one another motivated and it benefits both of us because it encourages us to train hard.

Watch them knees brah. You have a lot of potential though, considering your age and size.

Good effort man. Hope you don't mind me saying so but you should try to lead with your head and chest and push into the bar more. Otherwise you're breaking the squat into a two part lift and almost good morning the weight up to finish. Check out this vid to see what I mean.

Good shit man...

Like redsir said try and push out the chest a bit more and keep the posture a bit straighter.. But goes without saying, your squat numbers are off the charts for your weight.. Did you register for the fall classic? I missed the deadline, but will be training for the next one.

^ nope my progression didn't go according to plan
progression stopped after hitting 260x5 at the end of july after raising by 5lbs per workout for the whole month
so i decided to let my body rest a bit and went on a deload, but that was big mistake lol
when i came back from the deload i couldn't do the usual weights so i dropped down to 225 and now i'm making my way back up currently going for 250x5.

i'm going for the spring competiton when that comes and hopefully i'll be able to 1RM over 380ish and hopefully break the old provincal record sometime of around 400 @ 145 before i get moved up to the junior class in 2014

Good. Now try some olympic power snatches with a baby slung over you.

Timed.

Lol i kid, its actually pretty fun to try some timed challenges sometimes, just to get some variety in and such. If i do them though, its usually with plyometric calisthenic movements though. Just cus theres less risk involved

Throw in close grip bp/weighted dips once in a while as an accessory exercise
